Probably the greatest vocal performance of Simon's whole career, when i first heard this song Femme Fatale Duran's Simon LE BON version on vocals i was so blown away as a 15 year old hearing this back in 1993.

Man, music was so much better in the 90's. Ten years later, my dad put this album on a USB media player for me, and that was the soundtrack to my school days. No joke.

Funny thing is I grew up in the 80's and didn't pay Duran Duran much attention. I liked their music but not like now. I guess getting older and nostalgic is making me realize what a great band Duran Duran was.

@@MsElke11 it first appeared on The Wedding Album. It's the 9th track and precedes the banger None of The Above. That album was a true comeback as far as mainstream success.
It next appeared in 1995 on the Japanese release of the Thank You covers album.

@@cb1636 I think that's the case for a lot of people. I was the opposite, I loved the experimental Duran period so much that when I first heard AYNIN I just baulked at it, it just wasn't what I was expecting. I totally fell in love with it after another listen and it's in my top 3 now.

Im surprised why wasn't it widely promoted. All I remember in the late 90's when I became a duran fan was that it was on sale on VHS tape this video... wow this version is a lot more cleaner than the one that circulated around the fan community sites.
