Good stuff... and like the other folks, I never thought about pompano there. But the main thing was that I was constantly distracted by that pup. He's turning into a beautiful animal! And so chill in the boat...
Haha. I have considered getting him a bean bag chair so that he can just crawl up in there and go to sleep... That's all he does every time he touches the boat.
I always thought that Pompano were only in the surf. You just killed that myth! A little late coming to the show-but glad I did. TY
Yeah man, we were all shocked that they were as thick as they were. Pretty wild.
Went this past sunday and all three of us on the boat caught inshore slams! I took them in the river 👍. you could walk on the bait. Tight Lines!!

Coming from Oregon and fishing in the Pacific Ocean. This is so cool to me, that background looks like another planet and those fish look like some "forbidden offshore pelagic" type fish. Very cool. Thank you so much for sharing this adventure with us.
