    Hi Arlyn. Nice. If your new goals include the green card, not too late yet. Do the 2-year home stay requirement, then apply for H1b again. Good luck, and take care.

    You can get H1B without having a US license. It can also take less than a month for H1B if you do premium processing.

    Hi ma'am! I have 4 questions.
    1. Are eb2 and eb3 visas still applicable to aspiring teachers?
    2. What happens when your H1B 6-year period is over? Do you have to return to the PH or can you renew it?
    3. Is it true that the H1B visa is already a lottery? If so, is it a lottery for aspiring teachers?
    4. Is it easy to extend an h1b visa? If so, is it strict with the requirements and how do you do it?

    Hi! I've learned that you were also a college instructor back here in the Phils. What is your visa sponsor as a J1 teacher? How & which USA school district did you apply?
    I am also a college instructor with teaching license in the Philippines. Had 1st my teaching experience in the DepEd for 9 years. But I am now teaching in a state university under the College of Education.
    I hope you can help or guide me apply for a teaching position coz I really have difficulty applying since most visa sponsor prefer to have applicants who are currently teaching in the K-12 schools.

    • @TeacherArlyn

      Hello po, federal tax po starts at 10% for a certain portion of the income, then goes to 12%, 22%… You can google po federal income tax para makita nyo po ang table that shows the details. State income tax naman po varies kon saang state ka.

      @@SoteriosTV I don’t think it matters if you teach private, public or charter schools. You still get taxed po if you work/teach in the US.

    Recently I have completed my PhD in biochemistry so some one offering to get a J1 visa for teaching program if I can get this visa for USA and after one year I want to work as research scientist or maybe find a postdocruall fellowship in USA so can I move on J1 teaching visa to another field please if you know guide me Thanks

    • @TeacherArlyn
      @TeacherArlyn  Год назад +1

      To work as a scientist, you need a work visa. Depending on the policies of your home country, you can apply for a waiver to waive the 212e. Once that’s done then you can look for an employer who will sponsor the H1B visa for you. You can research more about j1 visa waivers or consult a lawyer about it.
