Kinda same 😂 My friends and had I already booked a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando before I even considered the football schedule, so we had a crazy time managing to get a table at the NBC sports bar in City Walk, and we wound up being fully surrounded by Falcons fans with a waitress who, at the very least, didn't like that we were from Boston. Plus, my friends weren't into football and one was a Giants fan for family allegiance, so I was a one-woman ball of suffering as the people around me were getting rowdier. But as soon as Edelman made his catch, I started smiling because I knew the Falcons fans had started celebrating too early.
Like 99% of every NE fan..I had reserved to the loss...then I spent the 4th qutr, sitting on the edge of the couch, in disbelief..."Is this REALLY happening?" ya gotta believe...
I was a 1% then. I knew they were beating them. I had a dream and so I was so calm.. people were yelling at me because I’m so calm and telling them we already won. 😂
Every pats fan will always remember where they were for that Super Bowl
After Edelmans catch I knew we had it! My buddies left at half who weren't Pats fans and said "our condolences". I got up and stood behind my couch at the start of the second half and stood there alone for the rest of the game. Jumped over it when they won! Amazing memories
Please! I was the only Pats fan at the Superbowl XXXIX party in the middle of Eggles country. 😂 I worked at Dicks Sporting Goods at the time and EVERYONE was talking smack.. until they lost. Then no one wanted to look me in the eye and I got a lot of “I don’t want to talk about it” 🤣
I watched it at my sister's house near Atlanta, as the only Patriots fan. I never gave up on them. Never threw my Tedy Bruschi jersey on the floor and stomped on it.
The moment I knew the comeback was on, was Tom Brady’s 20 yard run. That’s when I knew the goat hadn’t given up. It does not get mentioned often enough, but that was the first indication that it wasn’t over, for me.
I remember I was in the library working on big group project for the next day checking the score multiple times
I went to a SB party only NE fan there and I was pissed how they played in the first half. I was like this is not NE. Little by little chipping away but the end of the night I picked a little kid scooter I was about to fling it from excitement of tied game but half way into it I realized this ain’t my scooter or house 😂. I put it down gently and clapped my hands LETS GO. Always will remember that night man. To relive that moment all over again
