Many bands do live albums, many go unnoticed, But this album by Slade really made ripples in the music world, This is still my all time favourite live album,
Big time. Massive in UK, Euro and Australia but USA really missed out on this one. Their loss. Saw them live Feb '74 and in a strictly seating only auditorium EVERYONE was standing on their seats or in the aisles! Not seen that anywhere before or since!
Noddy could drown out a jet engine if he wanted to! AMAZING singing voice! One of the all-time great Rock singers! This live album slays -- if you're ever down, listen to it and the energy will bring you back! Pure live Rock awesomeness.
SLADE..such a great band live..so Entertaining & Noddy what a voice my favourite album of all my collection..best live band there will ever be & would blow any band of stage miss them so much absolutely luv em" for over 50 years a Slade fan for life👍
Live in the 70s. Noddy just took the audience where he wanted to go The burp into the Mike when all was quiet and regular finisher. Born to be wild. Brilliant memories 😊😊😊. Top deck in applo. Was really bouncing.
Oh come on.. That's proper fucking rock n roll with yer supper and a snog. 😂❤ This is so heavy modern kids would shit a brick on listening. Powerhouses.
When this album was first released, it stayed under the radar for quite a while. Maybe because Slade's public perception was of daft pop songs. But the band are much better than that and this album proved it. I think its a must have in every good record collection
A genuine crowd pleaser, back in the early 7'ties. Obviously recorded in a small concert place - max. 3.000 audience. Sweet was a couple of Chinichap-girls. Did they ever played live..?
Noddy was amazing, Dave Hill very competent BUT the glue that held this outstanding band together was Jimmy Lea... so so underrated!.... personal view of course 😅
I was halfway through secondary school when this came out . The art work was great and the music brilliant . Then they became puppets for the music industry money makers.
One of the best live albums of all time! This made me a Slade fan for life!

Amazing masterpiece from the summer of my years.
Noddy had the greatest rock voice.
Tenho 65 anos não fico 3 dias sem ouvir 🤘🇧🇷🤘

AMAZING 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Super groupe et super tube 🤘🤘🎸🎸🎼🎼❤❤
This was a live LP before the genre even existed. Before people realized how good they were they’d gone pop.
Noddy was amazing, Dave Hill very competent BUT the glue that held this outstanding band together was Jimmy Lea... so so underrated!.... personal view of course 😅
Dave Hill. Gets a bloody good sound out of a guitar
Super geil perfekt.
I suggest to hear the original from "Ten years After"
I have, and this is better in my opinion!
Think slade were going to be either a heavy rock or a pop band as a rock band they are up there with zep deep purple etc
I was halfway through secondary school when this came out . The art work was great and the music brilliant . Then they became puppets for the music industry money makers.
Ring Ring 😉
Rock bastards
