This sounds amazing!! Wow. My hat off to you guys. As always you bring the positive spirit and exposure to the amazing Star Wars EU. This was one of the first SW titles I ever read back in the late 90's. It's still amazing to this day!!

I'm almost done the first NJO book too.
Normally i detest these AI text to speech efforts but this isn't half bad. There is a slightly stilted feel to it at times but its the best i have come across to date. Really well done.

I'll take AI for stuff like this, I actually sat through an unabridged reading of 3 of the yuzong vong books with the crap google text to speech voice, like 25 hours. This basically sounds like a person, I'll gladly take this!!

Surprised Dash doesn't survive in the novel like he does the game, especially since he'd return in later EU material.

The AI s better than most narrators, not too bad at all. As for the story, it was OK, just too much non Star Wars content and style. In Star Wars, Droids are droids, not Terminators, going into detail about fruit, which is really fugu? Who cares? The worst part was the sleazy Xizor, banging everything in sight! That's not Star Wars. He's nothing like a Star Wars character, he's more like a Hollywood producer from Star Trek DS9 or something.
I'm guessing you didn't watch the prequels and the droid army.
