It's great that for the majority of the series run, that exteriors were filmed at Southfork and on location in Dallas. I'm watching again because I'm going to Dallas this week and another Southfork visit is a must! Abby you are hilarious with the bandage and ordering Vodka just like Sue Ellen. One of the funniest quotes from JR to Sue Ellen is that the "only you learned is that vodka doesn't smell on your breath."

Yes, the canals at Las Colinas is a beautiful area. If you go down there, be sure to check out the mustang sculptures at Williams Square. We didn't show them in the video, but they're really neat!
I`m currently watching Dallas Season 7 on DVD and guess waht? I dicided to travel Dallas in September 23. I thought to myself "why always dreming about Dallas? Buy a ticket and go on. I dicssed that with my husband and now I am planing a voyage to Dallas. I want to visit Filming Locations but most importantly: Sounthfork Ranch. I HAVE TO DO THAT! I ABSOLUTLEY HAVE TO DO THAT!!!!!! Also Season 7 when Katherine bought back her parents house supposed to be Houston but probably Dallas ! Great video from 1221 Dallas Marriot! What about Cliffs condo ??
@@markrichard4274 Thanks Mark! To answer your questions: Pam/Rebecca's house on Park Lane has been torn down and another house rebuilt on that property, which is a bummer. We will cover season 8 on our next trip to Dallas, but we drove by and looked at the Westlake house just for fun on our last visit. The front porch has been changed a bit, but otherwise it looks the same. As for Cliff's condo, we're guessing that exterior is stock footage, likely from somewhere in California. His exteriors change from season to season, it's so confusing! Glad you're enjoying our videos! 🙂

i love these Dallas videos that you do im a huge fan i still watch it from time to time now ,i watched it growing up as a kid here in England i remember it was on tv on a wednesday night bbc 1 at 8.00pm i think ,season 7 and 8 were i thought some of the best

I just came across all these and getting caught up. These are great. I come to Dallas as much as I can. I lived in Irving for a year 28 years ago. I finally went to SouthFork a few years ago. During the tour they said that Linda Gray has a house close by and drops by on occasion. Have you guys heard that ?
Hi Sean! Thanks so much for stopping by our channel and leaving a comment. We're glad to hear you're enjoying our Dallas video series! We've never heard anything about Linda Gray having a home nearby... that sounds like a rumor, lol! We have done the Southfork tour a few times and noticed that some of the tour guides give more accurate information than others, ha ha! But she did return to film the reboot in 2012-14, so I suppose she was there more often during that time for filming. And unlike the original series (which was only filmed on the exterior of the house) the reboot was filmed inside the mansion, so she would've definitely been there for that.
Nice! You can go into the Renaissance lobby - there’s a Starbucks there and a little food court down in the basement, but you really can’t access any of the actual offices or upper levels. They have security guards all over (who know nothing about the show and don’t want random people wandering around.) If you do go there, we recommend going on a weekday during business hours.
Although I was more of a Dynasty fan, I did watch the show, occasionally and this video is really well done and interesting. I just love then-and-now comparisons, too.

We recommend checking with the friendly staff at Southfork Ranch. They have an excellent website and active Facebook page (they were selling items on Facebook Live, not sure if they're still doing that though.) Hopefully they can help!
