If you go to Irving TX, a few soundstage scenes were filmed at the Movie Studios at Las Colinas, including the outdoor camping scene which was filmed on their largest stage. These studios were used for several production such as JFK, Silkwood, Leap of Faith and the Barney the Dinosaur episodes.

The character of Lucy was played by Colby Kline. She is the daughter of actor Richard Kline, who played Larry on Three's Company. I met Lucy and her mom at a car wash in Van Nuys years ago. We were sitting outside waiting for our cars to be done and we struck up a conversation. Her mom told me that they got to keep the giant oil painting of Lucy (Colby) after the movie wrapped.

Cool video. You did some travelin'. The "nice neighborhood" is the Swiss Avenue Historic District, listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. One of the first areas that Dallas's rich folks settled in. The "trendy area" is Deep Ellum, which in the 1920s was a hotbed for African American blues and jazz musicians. Fort Worth, where I was born, generally wants nothing to do with Dallas. It's much more laidback, and booming like crazy. With Yellowstone and 1883, tourism has gone thru the roof. You'll have a good time in Fort Worth.

Spoiler alert for those that don’t know why he was shocked to be on Elm Street… I am not sure if he ever filmed a video on it as he said … that’s where JFK was shot during his motorcade, the building to the right of that same street in this video is where Oswald was in the window with the long barrel sniper and shot JFK in the topless Lincoln.
Been to that spot a few times… there is an amazing bus tour that also takes you to where Oswald lived, literally takes you inside the house and you can see Oswalds tiny tiny bedroom that he lived in and most of the house with it being about 95% in its original state furniture and all from when Oswald lived there as the now owner (Oswalds friends sister which also knew Oswald and Oswald lived with them at the time) kept it the same while allowing tours into the home. If ever in Dallas I certainly recommend the tour!
