Just purchwsed the BTA 10 and connected to a Marantz PM8006 receiver. The HK sounds magical......for bluetooth. I have many bluetooth devices and can absolutely recommend the HK.
I bought the Logitech simply because of the $20 dollar price tag just in case it didn’t perform to my sound satisfaction, i still have my vintage Kenwood KR-4600 receiver/amplifier from 1975 along with pioneer Project 100-A speakers an a BSR graphic equalizer running through the system an the Logitech Bluetooth really sound quite amazing, the equalizer in the system brings out clear highs, strong midrange,an superb lows,so I strongly recommend a equalizer in the system if you want add Bluetooth,to me it improves the Bluetooth performance substantially,I hear a lot of negative comments about the Logitech but I am not having any issues with mine at all,the left / right stereo signal separation is fabulous,I do have to turn the volume control to about 1/4 up but this is Bluetooth an i then can control it with volume control on my i phone , its really no big issue for me, with a equalizer in the system I set an forget it , you are able to custom any sound source with it.I love my Logitech!!!!!
Suscribed love your videos I just bought an ESINKIN bluetooth adapter that looked just identical to that Logitech one, yeah I saw you were comparing the two of them from another video of yours keep up the good work man!
Just wondering what is the transmission delay time for these two? I am using the logitech and experiencing some small but noticeable delay in audio while playing racing games with my mobile. Visuals from screen and audio from speakers have a slight mismatch which is quite important for nailing a lap :)
I have not tried the Harmon Kardon but I consider the Logitech a very good unit and the sound is quite good. I'm not an audiophile but I do recognize good sound. I have 2 of these. One is on my Pioneer VSX-1019AH receiver and the other rescued my 1994 Bose Wave Radio from only AM/FM radio. The range is good, almost too good. It wants to hookup even when I'm far away and I want to hook up with a different source. My only complaint I have is the unit stays on all the time unless you unplug it.
Thanks for the excellent review. Honestly, I was seriously considering the Logitech unit. Put it in my cart on Amazon after searching multiple bluetooth adapters. Probably because of it's lower price than most. No surprise it's a top seller. I did look at the HK, but thought they did about the same job. Guess I should have realized you get what you pay for. Especially owning much HK equipment in the past, including an HK home theater receiver I currently own, knowing the quality of their products, as opposed to some cheap name products all over. I may reconsider this, and research it more, as well as watch some more of your videos on the subject. To me, stereo separation is paramount. It defines why audiophiles don't play back their source material in mono. Being sort of old school, I'm sort of a newbie to modern technology, such as bluetooth. I'm beginning to wonder if it's more of a convenience feature than one embraced by those who consider authentic sound reproduction, realism, and fidelity to the recording of importance. It also leads me to wonder as to whether a bluetooth signal would match, and rival, or be inferior to a CD, or vinyl played with a quality stylus. I'd really be interested to hear your thoughts on that, and if there are differences between the variances of sound quality amongst the many adapters out there, and/or which one will produce the best possible performance, if there is any one that stands alone, or group of units that perform better than others. Many thanks, in advance, for your input, and wishing you warm regards, blessings, and best holiday wishes.
I'd like to buy a few of these units. At least three, anyway. Primarily to accommodate my main living room HK home theater receiver, and the others to use with my vintage Marantz units in the garage and bedroom. My wife and I like to listen to, and fall asleep to nice, soft music, and it seems such a waste to have a vintage Marantz set up in the bedroom, with a nice pair of Baby Advent speakers, and then to listen to music from her phone over a crappy, cheap Vivitar bluetooth speaker she bought at Big Lots for about $10, with terrible 3" full range drivers in a tiny box made of 1/8" thin fiberboard. All we can use the Marantz for is FM broadcast, or playing the Yamaha CD player.
If you don't mind spending a few extra $ then you would do well with any of these devices. ruclips.net/video/X4TBIRx9FWw/видео.html Give your your 2015 and your ears a treat... IMHO
To me the term Open Airy means a wide range of the audio spectrum and wide stereo separation. Is the Harman Kardon really that much better for the price if it's still Bluetooth which is compressed audio? I thought the Stereo Separation is effected by how far apart you place your speakers. Does the Harman Kardon support aptX?
Neither company offered specs. I just used my ears, if units that I buy sound real bad, I just send them back. I don't trust "china" specs much anyway.
As per Amazon link the bta 10 is on bluetooth 2.1 which is a very outdated bluetooth standard. From my prior research the Logitech is on the same standard. The current standard is 5.0 and the basic streaming quality is much improved from 2.1. The best current adapters support bluetooth 5.0 with the Aptx Hd codec for neard cd sound quality. I use the Anker Sounsync A3341 and it does deliver near cd quality sound . No voltage specs on the soundsync but from my comparison to the known output of the Fiio Taishan dac, it is definitely greater than 1.5 v.
hello buddy, thanks for the great video... but i have a question...what quality bluetooth adaptor would you recomend me to connect to a classic music system sony grx70 ?, is it worth it to connect a BT adaptor that supports LDAC o aptX HD that i can buy on aliexpress(there so many that i cannot decide)?, I want to transmit a better quality sound from my smartphone thru TIDAL, and also making config to my phone... is it possible to notice a better hifi quality sound if I do what I have planned?.. thank you , cheers from Chile!
Either one of these units will work fine for your stereo system, I would maybe lean towards the Logitech because it is a little brighter and IMHO would make a better match. Hope this helps.
I can't adjust the volume from my phone on the Logitech. The only way to do that is through the speaker system, which is annoying and might be a big deal to a lot of people. I wonder if the Harmon Kardon has that feature.
Hi. Love your videos! Please tell me how to connect my iPod nano with no Bluetooth to my echo dot? I've tried a male/male adapter placed in echo and connected to nano. No go. Next tried to use taotronics Bluetooth transmitter/receiver. Not having any luck with that either. Did Amazon make echo dot so it can't be used with a Bluetooth adapter? Or is it Apples proprietary nature that makes them incompatible? I wouldn't be surprised. Then again it may be operator error, duh! Lolol! Any help would be great, thank you! PS, I really do not want to buy another Bluetooth speaker when I already have the echo dot.
I just ordered Esinkin on Amazon can't wait to try it out. Have you try Belkin bluetooth music receiver? If so what do you think between the Belkin and the Esinkin? Thanks
Does the Logitech one support connecting to 2 devices at once but playing back audio from one device at a time? Bluetooth multipoint is what the feature is called I guess.
I have this link for the logitech... amzn.to/39Ob6BL And this link to the esinkin W29, I understand it is the exact same device but a few bucks cheaper... amzn.to/2XjFYFf I just ordered the eskin to see if they are really the same units. Stay tuned for that video.. And thanks for supporting my channel..
I was leaning towards the HK. I mean...a company known for audio vs a company known for awesome webcams and keyboards(love my g513). Thanks for the simple review!
Most all of them have a decent distance. Distance has many factors in play, the phone or tablets output, walls and wiring in the home, other electronic devices that interfere. That being said, sometimes you get a device that is a "dud" and just has short distance no matter what device you use to stream music to it, at that point I return them and get another.
I have the one that looks like Logi but diff brand nake and it has like unnoticable response time but I agree, bass sounds abit off and it is kinda treblly than bassy
My dad is giving me his 8 year old bose system. Looking on Amazon at their bluetooth. It's $160. But it has a coax cable. Which is what I think I need. So still looking. Cause $160.
i have the Logitech connected to a1978 Pioneer SX-950 stereo receiver running 1975 JBL L-36 Decade 3 way floor standers , the source is Amazon Echo and Amazon Prime music ...if there is a bright sound i wouldn't know as with 85wpc vintage receiver and quality JBL speakers sound adjustments are a breeze !
I've had the Logitech adapter for about 18 months. The quality is fine for me, I only play MP3's, which in itself is a handicap in quality. The only issue I've had occurs when the PC is restarted. On coming back up, I will hear the "beep-bop" telling me it's enable but it's not. The speaker Icon is X'd out and the only way to get it working again is to unplug/re-plug the power. On the outside chance it had a fault I exchanged it but the replacement did the same thing. It's not a big deal for me, and it's the only issue that I've experienced. 👌
I like the MICCUS RTX 2.0 Transmitter, I have been using mine for a couple years. Has never let me down, has good range but I have had some latency issues watching TV with certain headphones. Music however is awesome. ruclips.net/video/H0uL3kbLXz0/видео.html
I use to own the Harman Kardon BTA 10 but sold it away half the cost. Not bad. But regret sold off the BTA 10. I thought of buy another bluetooth adapter.
Ok, this is no BS. If you liked your HK unit and are thinking of buying another one, may I suggest one of these units. ruclips.net/video/lplFr4uJo8E/видео.html The reason why I suggest one of these units is because the HK WAS my mostly used adapter until I bought these two. I now only use the Bluedento and B1. (I have two different stereo setups in my house and run one unit for each setup). I dont think you will be sorry for doing the upgrade. Cheers
I have a Sony Receiver with Bluetooth , but my Walmart Bluetooth headphone wont work , my android phone will , but not the headphones . looking for something decent to hook in to the phone jack on my Sony Receiver , so i can listen to my tapes , records , what have you , with out disturbing my wife when i work out . any suggestions ? around 25 bucks or so . i have the Sony 100 Watts 2-Channel Stereo Receiver - Bluetooth - Black STR-DH190 , with the phono , tape deck DVD /VCR , etc hook to it .
Here is how you do it. ruclips.net/video/nEqR7fqFmkI/видео.html The MICCUS is more than $25. but it is a good tried and proven device that offers you some flexibility. IMO Cheers.
That's the review I was looking for. I have a Harman Kardon set up so will go with the BTA-10. Thank you for the review.
Just purchwsed the BTA 10 and connected to a Marantz PM8006 receiver. The HK sounds magical......for bluetooth. I have many bluetooth devices and can absolutely recommend the HK.
Appreciate your transparency. I think it's a first for me to hear someone share what you just did. I'm now a fan and subscriber.
Awesome! Thank you!
I have had my Logitech Bluetooth adapter for 5 years and it still works just as good after five years as it did the day I got it.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🏆👈🏼😂

Thank you - I've watched several reviews over the last two days and this one convinced me to purchase the HK.
Hope you enjoy it.
Hey I have the HK and I’m noticing I’m getting less sound from the left speakers. Any advice?
I bought one an it sounds amazing on my old Kenwood receiver, my whole system is connected to 20 band graphic equalizer so the sound is always great!!
Just wondering what is the transmission delay time for these two?

On the logitech can I use the rca and aux at the same time
IDK, I'll try it.
Hello, what Bluetooth receiver do you recommend for use with a Marantz 2015b? Listening to mostly classic rock from iTunes off my iPhone.
If you don't mind spending a few extra $ then you would do well with any of these devices. ruclips.net/video/X4TBIRx9FWw/видео.html

Denise, I am sorry, I don't know a thing about the echo dot.
What is the difference between Logitech and Esinkin?
I believe they are the same.
I just ordered Esinkin on Amazon can't wait to try it out. Have you try Belkin bluetooth music receiver? If so what do you think between the Belkin and the Esinkin? Thanks
Back when I looked at Belkin none of the receivers looked good to me so I never bought one.
How do I connect either of the devices to a sound system that has a USB port instead of a 3.5mm and AUX?
IDK.... I have never tried to do that, Sorry
Does the Logitech one support connecting to 2 devices at once but playing back audio from one device at a time? Bluetooth multipoint is what the feature is called I guess.
Yes logitech can have two devices
My TV has a digital optical outlet ONLY will this work with my TV ?
No.
Does the hk have rca output?
No, 3.5mm out only.
hi! can i play two units onyx studio 4 using a transceiver? i have been really researching about this. THank you!!!
No not as far as I know. Unless the HKs can sync together.
Thank you for the info
your amazon link is only for used logitech. sorry i want new.
I have this link for the logitech... amzn.to/39Ob6BL

Do you think the Bose SoundTouch is worth $148?
I have never used that Bose device, so I cant say.
I use the logitech and it's good with good bass output
Are these bluetooth devices hearing aid compatible?
What'd you say? 📣
Thanks a lot buddy

There’s not a nickels worth of difference between them other than the HK name.
Have you taken them apart

Does the Harmon Kardon have optical connection
No
It’s because it’s cheap genius
BTR3 and BTR5 are the best
I have worked with the 3 not impressed, (terrible range) not sure on the 5. In my experience battery powered BT receivers are TOYS!
Cheers.
IMHO
new i phone with old jasmine its a high end stuff !!!!!
jasmine chinese stuff much better
