Great looking bowl Tim, really love the shaping of this. Must have been mightily frustrating to find the metal interloper, but thankfully didn't distract from the piece. All the best. Ray
Cheers Ray, it was a little disconcerting especially when I saw the chunk it took out of the gouge tip too. Several words were said! Thanks for watching pal!
Hi Pog... Beautiful tri cornered bowl... very well turned... those corners looked scary!!... Loved the home made ebonising solution it worked really well... Shame about the gouge... I thought that it was going to fly off when you did the slo mo...Haha Great video as always... Take care...All the best.....Andy
Wow, who'd have thought a block of wood had that magnificent shape inside it. That ebonising recipe works amazingly well, I'll have to give that a try someday. Cheers Pog, another tour de force.
Nicely done! Ive seen alot of these turned, and always wanted to try one. Hate that the drill bit was there, and caused a bit of a problem. Never know whats gonna be hiding in wood fibers. The ebonizing solution worked well!
Nice one Tim! I must have a go at some more 3 sided stuff. The ebonising solution works great but I have used it on some Oak (well I thought it was Oak) but it didn't ebonise much at all. Not sure if the Tannin disappears as the Oak ages or what. So much to learn! Merry Christmas, Dave
Yeah I'm not too sure on that one. It must leave to some extent right? Cheers Dave, I'd recommend it, lots of fun 😁 Happy Christmas pal, have a good one!
That's a nice one Tim. Too bad you can't burn you're logo in this one. (hmm, you can sand the bottom and the ebonize through your logo template) 👍Frank.
How many people would give the wrong answer if you ask them how many corners a bowl made from a square block of wood will have? Only woodturners are likely to know this. Admittedly I still have a problem myself in reasoning why there are three corners instead of four. Maybe I should make another one myself. 😎

Yet another incredible creation. The grain turned out wonderfully. We are just amazed with the ideas you come up with.
Thank you so much for the support guys, much appreciated 😁

Thank you so much! It's not my favourite to work with but I don't mind it so much. Cheers! 😁

Beautiful piece Tim! I love the smooth curves and how they contrast the spikey points!
Awesome work all around!

Cheers Tommy! Yeah it's horrible, my poor bowl gouge! 😂

Looks good man, like how you left the hole where the pesky drill bit was
Cheers dude! Gotta just roll with it sometimes! 😂
