How hard can it be? Yarn Bowl - Wood turning

My first attempt at making a yarn bowl. This one is a leaving gift for a colleague who loves to crochet.
I really like the combination of beech and padauk. The yarn cut out was very tricky and certainly kept my heart rate up! The finished bowl was 175mm x 75mm (Just under 7'' x 3'')
