Doonbeg the best conditioned golf course in Ireland hands down. Shame so many people can’t get over who owns it and object to every improvement they try to make there. Could be the best in Ireland easily.

Been to Ireland 10 times to play, always play the links as they are unique to Ireland and Scotland. My top 10 would be Ballybunion, Lahinch, Donegal (Murvagh), Carne, Enniscrone, Rosses Point, County Louth, Royal Portrush, Royal County Down, Portmarnock Old. The last 4 we have only played once, the others multiple times. Usually the best part of the day is the people we meet and the pint at the club bar.

On your list I have played four of them: Ballybunion, Lahinch, Portrush and Royal County Down. Hard to choose which is the best as they’re all beautiful. I would probably choose royal county down, I have to admit it was the best weather day of the four when I played them.

Review of "Top 10 Golf Courses in Ireland"
    Hi lads,
Great job on the video showcasing the 10 best golf courses in Ireland! Your selection really highlights the rich diversity and stunning beauty of Ireland's golfing landscape. The video was well-edited with breathtaking drone shots and insightful commentary on each course.
I have a couple of suggestions that might enhance the viewing experience even further. Since Ireland is renowned for both its links and parkland courses, perhaps you could consider splitting the list into two separate top 10s: one for the best links courses and one for the best parkland courses. This way, viewers can get a clearer understanding and appreciation of the unique qualities each type of course offers.
For the links courses, I’d recommend featuring:
    Royal County Down
    Ballybunion Golf Club
    Lahinch Golf Club
    Portmarnock Golf Club
    Waterville Golf Links
    Royal Portrush Golf Club
    Tralee Golf Club
    The European Club
    County Sligo Golf Club
    Enniscrone Golf Club
    And for the parkland courses:
    Adare Manor
    The K Club
    Mount Juliet
    Druid’s Glen
    Carton House (Montgomerie)
    Fota Island
    Powerscourt Golf Club
    The Heritage
    Palmerstown House Estate
    Headfort Golf Club (Championship Course)
On that note, I highly recommend a visit to Headfort Championship. It's a hidden gem that combines challenging play with the picturesque surroundings of the Boyne Valley. The mature trees and beautifully designed holes make it a standout parkland course that deserves recognition.
Cheers and keep up the fantastic work!

That's certainly a popular opinion, and one I thought of before I played the course, what I will say is that everyone that I met who works on the course or in the hotel were locals to the area who would likely have to move away to find another job if this course and hotel didn't exist. It's massive for the local economy, not just the staff but other local bars, restaurants etc that benefit from the tourism the hotel drives. I looked at is more as supporting them than the owner.
