Great video as really shows how gorgeous the Old Head is as have played there a couple of times the past decade. Brilliant staff, amazing views and unbelievable course especially when you play along the cliffs. Had a brilliant caddy the last time I was there Dave who was outstanding while had the opposite experience the first time I played there, one of the rudest caddies I have ever had on my bag, Eoin. Anyway brilliant video as brought back some fond memories.
Thank you it really is a good course. You can put up a decent score here but like most Irish courses if the wind is blowing its a totally different story.
I played in Early July. The weather has been great for both of my trips (the previous trip in my videos - August). Barely any wind except for one day and only a little misting rain the first day.
@@thebossgolfs That's awesome that you got such good weather. We spent two weeks total in Ireland but over the 270 holes we played on the trip, the rain gear only came out for about 20 holes. Something approaching a hurricane hit on the afternoon we played Dooks but we also saw the temp hit 70 degrees for two days. The wind was ever-present, however. I haven't traveled as much as you have but I have played maybe 70% of the courses you have made videos of and I found Old Head to clearly be the most spectacular course I've ever played. A friend of mine had been there several years before but they had thick fog for the whole round. That would be heartbreaking!
Hey awesome footage! Would you mind if I borrowed some of your drone clips to use for a trip recap video for my dad? I would only use a few seconds just to introduce the course. It is a simple video and I will not be profiting off your clips. I will also credit you when it is posted to youtube (this is just so my dad can share the link with his buddies who went on the trip). Let me know, thanks!
It's a course in Ireland for Americans, this is what happens all over the world, Americans pay ridiculous rates but don't care, the money doesn't go to the local economy and people who live there lose every way. £500+ for a round of golf is obscene

Played there in 2007. Blue sky's and no wind, course was unreal!
Played this course! It was an amazing experience! The views are breathtaking!
Beautiful footage of a wonderful course 👍🏻🍀
Fantastic review and footage , looks like a course you have to play golf and not just smash driver every hole , incredible 👍🏻

Thank you so much!!! I am going in June and I can't wait.
You are going to love it. Please come back and comment your thoughts about it.
“Pebble Beach on steroids” was exactly what I said the first time I played it.
Wow that’s unbelievable.
Shot an 83 in the fog was a gorgeous course from what I could see
Makes me want to get in the car and drive to Arcadia bluffs right now
It was such an amazing course. It's really like nothing I've ever played. The visuals are insane
It truly stands alone
Great vid boss
Thank you I appreciate it.
Magnificent. #ProudMom
Thank you so much. I would like to play old head golf links.
“Might not be the most challenging “ 🤔. Try it on a wet and windy day.
When did you play there? We were there in late May and it was fantastic, although the weather wasn't quite as nice as you enjoyed.

What time of year was this video shot? One course a must to play

Sure please tag me and share the video with me as well
Try it on a windy day and then tell us it's not a difficult course.
I believe it would be brutal on a windy day. Happy I caught it on a mild day. I also heard it's hard when the fog hasn't burned off.

This coarse is only for members only I was there 3 days ago
I have been plus several friends and family. It is a public course with a membership. While expensive it is open to the public.
