For those who wonder, after spending 2 days of researching I finally solved my problem. My installation stopped at 0% and I tried everything the guy said from going offline to install it from the store. Then I noticed that the installation won't start because I set up my external hard drive as default storage to install all my games, what you need to do is to select your internal hard drive as a default when installing new games or apps, if the internal hard drive is full try to move some games to your external hard drive (it won't affect your games) and then install the game on your internal hard drive. It works and the installation goes really fast. I just installed 25% of my game in just 3 min, highly recommended.
Im still having issues with re downloading Black ops 3. It starts fine then stops at 30% . I tried to download it from the store,but it tells me the original disc that i bought when it first came out is no longer sold separately...Idk what to do with it anymore

None of this worked. We never had these installment issues with 360 at all. Microsoft would do well to do a big recall of their consoles and make things easy like they did with 360. I think I made a mistake buying my Xbox One

I had played Halo 5 for a while, and stopped and my hard drive broke and we had to buy a new one, but the disk was slightly scratched and couldn’t install as it would start, not go up in percent and then stop. So I just never played it, but my friend asked to play Halo and I wanted to play Halo 5 again, so I watched all the way to the end with that other trick and it worked and I’m so happy that it worked so even though I don’t know you, thank you from the bottom of my heart! I FIGURED IT OUT 100% I know the exact problem and all you have to do is change your DNS to cloud flare. The primary is 1.1.1.1 and secondary is 1.0.0.1. This solved the issue for both myself and my brother. My ark had been going on and off with installation stopped and it is currently downloading fine. Hope it works for you guys as well

Make sure to clean the game carefully as loading issues can also be due to reading errors, though it won't say it is a reading error. If it is happening to multiple games and none of these fixes work, your lens could be dirty. Use either compressed air from Walmart (in electronics) or if you are good enough, you can make a DIY tool with a micro fiber cloth attached to reach in and clean the lens but I do not recommend this as most people will just scratch the lens. You have to know what you are doing to do this right. There are also cleaning disks available which have a little brush attached to the underside of the disk, which clean the lens when the disk starts to spin. If you have cleared your local storage, cleared your bluray Persistent storage and have tried it offline without any luck, then try to clean the disk. Watch a tutorial on cleaning game disks also as it is easy to scratch them. Always clean from the inside towards the outside and use a microfiber cloth without any cleaner. Idk if this video suggests any of that as I fixed mine before watching this video. Good luck.

Nothing worked. Everytime i stop installation and restart, it increases by about 4%. Gonna just have to do that until it gets to 100 and hope nothing is corrupted.

I think it's just the way the footage was captured, it's still the same shade of black on my TV. But I am in a new Alpha dashboard build which is in the video, so maybe it's a bit darker now than it was. I didn't change any themes or anything like that.
Does the console recognize the disc in the drive? If not, the disc may be damaged or the disc drive might need repairs if other discs are also not working.
Found last mentioned method by downloading the game digitally ! The Witcher 3 on Xbox one X refused to install after 7.2 %. I have a physical disc and had no problems on my S machine. My question is, do I still need the disc to play the game even although I downloaded it digitally ?

@@Monkiedude22 yeah it good! Turned out that the disc was stratched deeply, so I got a new disc, and perfect! The game was Forza horizon 2 for the record, which I read had had lots of people having trouble with it.

Games can't fit on discs anymore and it helps gather data and save it more easily when it installs rather than just putting it in and playing.

Try using the Install Offline method first, then connecting to Xbox Live for the updates.

Had this problem yesterday for the first time, trying to install my Tekken 7. I have my Xbox One X since March. Never had something like this before. Offline didn't work too. In the end, I completely downloaded it over the Store, while having the Disc inside. Great current gen
Nothing worked. Everytime i stop installation and restart, it increases by about 4%. Gonna just have to do that until it gets to 100 and hope nothing is corrupted.

How do we do this for non disc games?
So my game won’t appear on my Xbox but would appear with an play disc icon I would try to access it an it would just close it self an say that it’s not readable I took it to the store an asked for them to fix it they fixed it but I’m still having trouble what do I do
how did you changed that background in games and apps?You have it more darker...Is it just video editing or something like that?
I think it's just the way the footage was captured, it's still the same shade of black on my TV. But I am in a new Alpha dashboard build which is in the video, so maybe it's a bit darker now than it was. I didn't change any themes or anything like that.

I can't try the second method cuz I put my gow4 disc in and instead of saying to install when I go to store, it says to buy the disc
Does the console recognize the disc in the drive? If not, the disc may be damaged or the disc drive might need repairs if other discs are also not working.
Monkiedude22 well the disc drive is working cuz I also installed bo2 on disc so it could be the disc but the disc is pure clean

Found last mentioned method by downloading the game digitally ! The Witcher 3 on Xbox one X refused to install after 7.2 %. I have a physical disc and had no problems on my S machine. My question is, do I still need the disc to play the game even although I downloaded it digitally ?

Thatguy 0300 yeah I used to love Xbox then I moved to the country and now both my Xbox’s get major errors all the time blue ray player stopped working on another. If you don’t have maximum internet the thing fucking sucks shit I haven’t played anything in weeks. I fucking give up. I wish it could go back to like an Xbox 360 format where internet wasn’t required. FFFUUCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

@@Monkiedude22 yeah it good! Turned out that the disc was stratched deeply, so I got a new disc, and perfect! The game was Forza horizon 2 for the record, which I read had had lots of people having trouble with it.
Thank you I would have never done the last step and have never seen it on another channel so it was a nice surprise when it worked I would recommend anyone to try it if their installation keeps stopping
