Looks like it goes in a vase to hold live flowers, the piece with all the holes. Would be great for paint brushes. Amazing finds, great video! 6:52

Alex the thing with the holes in the bottom, looks like a flower "frog". If it is , you put it in the bottom of a vase and stick your flower stems in the holes. My granny gave me some clear glass ones.

The round thing with the holes in could be a plant frog. Put into a vase and the flower stems go into the holes so that they stand up

Yeah, that thing with a bunch of holes in it in America we call them frogs and they go at the bottom of a vase or a pot and you place flower stems down in the holes and it helps them stand up..
Yes...that's a "Stem Frog."

Ceramic with holes could be a ceramic frog for flowers
It’s a frog for flower arrangements.you put it in a vase and it holds the flowers. That would be my best guess. Really nice in porcine.
The ceramic item with all the holes looks like a flower frog that would have been inserted into another ceramic vase piece.
The thing Alex found with the holes in it looks like it could be an early ,what we call,frog. It hold up cut flowers in a pot or vase. Place the stems on the holes. OTHER THAN THAT. IT COULD also be a stand to place hot pots . Looks more like a frog tho.
Really enjoyed this adventure and also how you intercut footage from the northern mudlarks with your own. Sometimes when people do collaborations you barely see the visitors during the episode but the way you’ve done it is great. I also really like your music. Cool finds too 😃😃😃

The ceramic piece with all the holes is a flower frog. At least that's my guess.
Those ladies might not be able to find a needle in a haystack - but can go one better and find a tiny blue glass bead in a field of nettles..

35:21 is a floral frog used to arrange flowers
The disc with the holes are a frog to arrange flowers in the stems of the flowers go in the holes and that’s at the base of a a bowl or a no a large mouth jar but it’s a frog

A lot of cool finds. Would be fun to do some mudlarking. Don't know any places in my area to do it. I live in Indiana USA. But I can find cool rocks and seashells at the lake here. I have done that before. Did find money to someone lost. And my brother tried saying it was his. Lol that was when we was kids. But still look for shells at times.

I would repurpose that dough bowl into a candle holder. I have a massive 3 wick candle that would fit. Or it could be used to hold a flower pot, planted with a vining plant. Thoroughly enjoyed this video. It would have been great if Kit and Caboodles could have joined in all the fun.

I have not viewed all the Mudlarking videos (because I'm new to these wonderful videos). However, I have noticed that many are leaving whole bottles behind (because they have to many, or the bottle is plain or not interesting).
Right now, I don't remember which magazine I viewed the pictures and read the article in - that was about a storage building made out of used empty beer bottles, wire, cement, support studs and other recycled objects. The walls allowed day light to light up the inside of the building during the day in many colors. Has any of the Mudlarkers tried to make a storage building, porch, green house, dog house or a large planter out of some of those unwanted, beautiful, real glass old bottles? Almost all bottles are being made of plastic today. I hate to see those old bottles exposed and left to the weather or for someone to use for target practice.
Sadly we cannot take them all I live in a terraced house and don’t have a garden just a tiny yard which already has hundreds of bottles in storage . I know what you mean though it’s just not a viable thing for me . If I make enough trips though you never know I may need the ones left behind for different projects
I didn't know Dr. Kilmer's Swamp Root was also manufactured in the UK. I dug that same clear sample size bottle last Summer which was from Binghamton NY here in the US. Great bottle dump & finds.

35:18 can be one of 2 things. I know they have used "FLOWER FROGS: for a couple of centuries and that looks sorta like one of those but most frogs were glass not ceramic, this one could be, one for stem flowers, I know that :IRIS FROGS" are usually metal with spikes, to keep the iris standing straight but the holes are to place the flowers in to keep them straight but I am wondering also if that is not one of the things they thought would stop a pot from boiling over on the store, That I can not remember the name of them, my Grammar had all kinds of gadgets that I loved going through and asking questions about as a child lol.
