LOL!!! I was laughing so hard at this that it made the kids come running to find out what was so funny!!! I heard Mom say it had a round bottom and then Alex said what I was thinking and them Mom said my next thought. Thanks Ladies for making my afternoon with a little comic relief even if it wasn't really intended!
I have to tell you that I was a bit down tonight but Alex's "Round bottom" remark had me rollicking in laughter. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us and for lifting my mood : )
Alex is so cheeky [pun intended] isn't she? I laughed at her "I've got a round bottom" comment too. I'm glad Alex cheered your mood. I get down in the dumps too. I'm an empty-nester these days.
I love the fact you go out of your way to entertain us, you put "together" factual information which captures our imagination. Thank you for a great video.😊🥰
I remember some old commercials, "Where's YOUR brown bottle of Lysol?" I have some in my cabinet as we speak! But not in a brown glass bottle. It's a spray can. Great vid as always!
Imagine in 100 yrs someone looking through a dump and finding our beads and jewelry etc and getting so excited and amazed over it even though it's such simple things to us.
Pyrex is also extremely difficult to break when dropped as well! I know! I accidentally dropped a Pyrex bread pan down the basement steps! It bounced, but didn’t have even a chip in it!
Benbow's was a dog medicine. For distemper and worms. That Veno's is a great find. I love cures. Alex that poison is off the charts. Gail you found such amazing beads. That clock parts are steampunk heaven. Baby bottle Pyrex with the measurements? Great video you two!
When I was a child, my grandmother washed me with Lysol and hot water because I had a very bad case impetigo bacteria. Odd thing to use but it killed the bacteria and I was well in three days. She was born in 1898 so she was really from another era with different beliefs in products. I would never put that on my skin knowing what I do now, but at the time I must have been six, maybe seven.
These references remind me of the Windex scenes in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Apparently the older Greeks thought Windex was the end-all and cure-all to top all others.
Wow Ladies, what a wonderful variation of finds! I had no idea that terracotta pipe bowls were so rare, I have removed mine from the grandchildren's reach 😀. I have both 'Venos' and 'Lysol' bottles in my collection, I don't think I will look at them in the same way in future! Great video 😃 x
A rubbish dump - my favorite! The range of wonderful things you have found. Thanks for the history of that amazing little Lysol bottle and for dragging me along!
Another informative video ladies. Had a great chuckle when Alex declared she too had a round bottom. It is ok Mom for her say that. Lol! What is life if you can’t have a little bit of fun.
I absolutely love you ladies. From the first video, that I started watching because I thought it was something else, to this one. However, I sometimes get frustrated. So many times you leave random items behind and I am screaming...BUT I COULD HAVE USED THAT!!!! As a crafter, you endless knowledge and bravery to try new things have made you my new heroines. In this video, I have to admit that you left me shaking my head and not at just items you left behind. Pyrex and lysol are everyday household products in the US. I wasn't surprised to find the pyrex was a baby bottle, but I did think it was a salad dressing bottle. Similar are used to mix oil, vinegar, and seasonings here in the states. Now the lysol history was quit a shock, but the product itself was not. Even before the pandemic, lysol (or some generic version of it) is a must have in almost every house here as well. Thank you ladies for all you do and keep up the good work.
Thanks Ladies, for another entertaining and informative video. You never disappoint us awaiting to see what's next. Gail makes me smile when she finds a delightful item. She makes a sort of feline-ish sound, like a purr, but if the treasure is damaged, the sound goes from a purr to something akin to a puppy whimper. Very unique reaction and solely Gail's. : )
I am from South Dakota, USA and Deadwood is one of my favorite places in the state. So cool to hear of a UK connection with the 'Wild West.' Love your videos, you always find the neatest stuff! Thank you for sharing!
I love your videos. I am a fellow treasure hunter. I watch your videos in the evenings and find them not only interesting and informative, but relaxing. Love your voices and the music you've chosen. Blessings ♡
Could the curved German coin be a love ❤️ token? Love the stories that come with the finds. This history geek from Oregon loves to watch the fabulous things you share with us. Thanks for your dedication, creativity and enthusiasm.
An old bottle gold mine. Lots of interesting things. Nice cat closeup. :>) Thank you for all the historical background on the bottles - much appreciated. The background puts everything into context. Cool video as always.
I love the happiness, excitement, and wonder you both have and show. It cheers me up just to watch you. And boy I need a little cheer in my life. I have been watching several of your videos everyday and it always cheers me up! What a beautiful relationship you have between you it is amazing! I'm hooked
THANK God, girl's, I never hear of Lysol being used for death anymore... THANK you ! I learn new things ALL the time... Very, very interesting ! OLD NOTTS LADY, USA
Didn't realise that the world of pharmacy was so ridden with intrigue and despair. I'll remember that next time I'm in 'Boots'. Would electrolysis clean the cogs ? The video is worth it for the clip of those bubbles alone. Thank you for making it.
Rennet was also used to make a milk pudding called Junket. We often had it as children and I recall my mother using rennet from a similar bottle to the one you found. I used to love it. When I was a child, I was delighted to find that Enid Blyton had written a story entitled 'Junket through the Window'.
Greetings to you both, husband was so happy to enjoy this week's video. I was delighted watching him enjoy your finds. But I must say he LOVES the photography and music, and your HELLOOOOS to your audience as well. It's fun watching the joy you bring to him watching you. He loves the music and photography as well. As for me, well I'm enthralled with it all. When there is a story read that accompanies the find, even better. Can you remember when you were very young having a story read to you, and you would hang on every word. Thank you for the interesting stories. Beautiful finds.
amazing how “like new” the bottles look....after being in the ground for over 70 to 100 years...beautiful finds.....and love the info about them....bravo...🤗
So good to see you guys out and about again. Excellent bottle finds and very interesting histories associated with them. Loved the segments of the ducks and sunset. The blooper commentary at the end of the video was hilarious! More please in future vids. Sue and Ian, Australia
Very interesting information! It is terrible to think that “Veno” could get by as a professor of medicine. Great job uncovering the history behind Lysol disinfectant!
I love the metal bow that your mum found, turn the bow upside down and make a necklace with that !! Beautiful things hanging from your it, just an idea 💡
Hi girls, thank you for yet another great video. Loved the bottle history, so interesting. What a great place for treasure hunting. I will also be very excited when you turn up a whole terracotta pipe !!! Take care both of you lol Ali
Greetings Ladies. I enjoy watching your UTube and as a mother who misses her 30 year old newly married daughter - I think it is brilliant that you as a mother - daughter team enjoy mudlarking and such together. My thought is that you could fill the test tubes with bead finds and sell them. You could seal them with decorative wax seals. If the test tube is small enough you could wrap decorative cord on the top and use additional cord for a “tube” necklace filled with beads. Love your show! Love your music choices. Peace ✌️ from Sugar Land Texas USA ❤️🙏🦋
You two are so refreshing and fun thank you for taking us along on your journeys. Alex, you make me laugh so much. And it only makes it more funny bc your mom reprimands you. I cracked up when you said “I have a round bottom “ believe me after this Pandemic we ALL have round bottoms. Be safe take care Thank you both again for sharing your discoveries and doing the in-depth research. I respect that. We all do.
Hi ladies🙋🏻♀️, I love hearing the history behind your finds. I live close to Pittsburg Pennsylvania. Love the Lysol bottle and wow what an amazing and shocking history of Lysol. How do you get your bottles so clean? I love bottle digging and never seem to get them very clean. Thank you for another great video. Take care. ❤️🤣NOT THE SPLANISH MONSTER!! 🤣
You never fail to come up with new and exciting videos. The poison bottle and veno’’s history were really interesting . What happened to your finger Alex... I noticed the bandage last week too. Also loved the green glass finds as well as the beads and the Weasleys car lol
That figurine with the braids would have been really pretty. Seriously love the indignant expression on her face. Too bad it's broken. We'll never know if she had a round bottom as well.
It was a lovely video and well worth waiting for. You had lots of nice finds with the beads and picture frame ornaments. Love those bottles and they clean up so well, and have an amazing history behind them. Its so interesting what you find out about them and is quite gruesome at times. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your week
I just love watching your wonderful videos! The excitement of finding the items and then the history that you uncover is really great. Not to mention the beautiful scenery that you share with us!! 💜
I love watching your videos so much. Is there any way the two of you could do a video showing your cleaning techniques for some of your brass and copper finds as well as your bottles?
Wonderful to see and hear you both! Thank-you for today’s adventure and video❣️❣️The history if your finds is always so interesting Tu for taking the time to clean and lookup each important find! Enjoy your week be safe laugh and keep loving and supporting one another and me Cheers blessings ☀️😎🐶🐶❌⭕️🇨🇦
I just love to watch you and your mom find different things and how much you and your mom enjoy it. I love your accent. You are so pretty and so funny.

Hello Gail and Alex! Wow, this was an awesome dump site!! There seemed to be fantastic finds everywhere. Really enjoyed the history behind those bottles, very interesting and yet disturbing at the same time. And what about all the beads and cogs too...amazing!! Everything was so cool, I would be itching to go back all the time. LOL ; ) Way to go ladies!! Give the Shwoo's a lil love for me. ; ) Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!! xoxo : )

Did not expect the "I've got a round bottom" I literally spit my drink out laughing.
Sooo Funny! Gail: Alex!!
I have to tell you that I was a bit down tonight but Alex's "Round bottom" remark had me rollicking in laughter. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us and for lifting my mood : )

Oh Alex!!! You made me laugh, with your round bottom comment and your cogmagedon.... I love your quick wit!! You both make my day! ❤
Me too!!😄
Me three!
Your history added so much to this video. Beautiful. Sad, but beautiful.
Imagine in 100 yrs someone looking through a dump and finding our beads and jewelry etc and getting so excited and amazed over it even though it's such simple things to us.

Wow! All the way to Deadwood and back Steeped in mystery and tragedy till his self inflicted demise- all the makings for a made for T.V. movie!!

I stepped on a rusty nail when I was little and my father had me soak my foot in Lysol and warm water a few times a day for a week.
Somewhere in my basement I still have my daughter's pyrex bottles, lol. She was born in 1989. Wonderful video!
Alex, you made me snort giggle when you said, I’ve got a round bottom!
So many awesome bottles at this dump!
A rubbish dump - my favorite! The range of wonderful things you have found. Thanks for the history of that amazing little Lysol bottle and for dragging me along!
I remember being given Virol as a child. Yes it was sweet and we liked it.
Aloha Gail & Alex! That local dump is a gold mine of little treasures! I will never look at Lysol the same way, wow! Great video!
Did you notice the N is back to front on that poison bottle! Brilliant info!
Another informative video ladies. Had a great chuckle when Alex declared she too had a round bottom. It is ok Mom for her say that. Lol! What is life if you can’t have a little bit of fun.
The beads always make me so excited!! You two are absolutely amazing
Bloopers at the end are priceless! Just shows how human you are!! ❤️❤️
Lysol was part of our household when I was growing up. It as used as a disinfectant.

So fun to hear the connection to Deadwood, a town I have visited. Great & informative video ! 🇺🇸❤️🌵
😂 love the out take. Seriously, such an interesting history lesson and amazingly beautiful treasures found. Much dedication involved, thank you😊
Great video. Loved the tiny stopper. The History of a bottle changes everything! Thank you for all the information too. Stay safe. 🦋
We find lots of bottles but no stoppers!! Grrr I'd kill for a Gartons glass stopper!
It didn’t look like a bidet to me. More like a red bead.!!!!!! Love as always, from Wolverhampton in The West Midlands. Happy Easter.xxxxxxxx
Another great, entertaining video. I could watch you two all day.
Always an adventure with you. Thank you! Promise of spring ahead.
What a wonderful episode - this was amazing all in all. I must say, the music you use is so very very perfect. Can’t wait for next Sunday

You’re getting closer and closer to that terracotta pipe bowl. :)
Love the new bottles, glad you found so many new ones.
I love the look of dumps like this! Always nice to see your new videos!

Always interesting history, Thank You again for sharing, even your round bottom.
That is so sad about the Lysol. I have spray Lysol for disinfecting. I can’t imagine someone using it internally in ANY way.😬
Your research is so delightful an addition to your work. Thank you.
I just love watching your wonderful videos! The excitement of finding the items and then the history that you uncover is really great. Not to mention the beautiful scenery that you share with us!! 💜
