I love Mick’s stories, they give me the giggles. Great lark, thank you.
So happy that you took the beautiful little ridged jam pot, Sarah !
You are definitely justified in taking that jam pot! It's a beaut!
Snowy dump is a treasure trove of all sorts of 'what nots'. It was lovely spending time with both of you Sarah and Mick. He who tells mystery histories...we've never heard of before.😅
Haha and yes we saw you giggle Mick, and when we panned to Sarah's face (was that a look of amazement at yet another gem of knowledge about buttons 🤪)
well i just burst out lsughing.
Some great finds and a very enjoyable lark.
Thanks. See you again soon. X
Hector Thomas, Winner of the British Amateur Golf Championship, 1936. Some larks are better than others. The last 2 weeks have been loads of fun!
The pattern on the lid Mick found is called ironstone Tea Leaf. I have two little butter pat dishes with that pattern. Good find!👍
Yes, I have one piece. At one time it was highly sought after and expensive to collect here in the USA.
The blue marbles are beautiful. I love going around with you guys!!! And the commercials , well thanks for making me hungry . You two are so cool.
Snowy dump never fails to have gems and treasures and Mick was in rare form 😂 Another great lark you two, thanks so much for the fun day. Love and hugs, 🥰🥰 xx
you go girl.................. collect those pots all you want! I love your sense of humour! xx
😊 thank you
Another awesome mudlarking with you guys
Hahah I love Mick’s digressions on the history of things.
Greetings and Salutations Mick and Sarah, firstly I would like to compliment brother Mick on his unexpected fit of laughter to start the search, far out. Sarah, you are very talented at finding unique treasures and having Mick with you,to help describe buttons in great detail.✌️👍❤️
Yes Sarah, take the Jam pot! You have been so good, it is a special one and rules are made to be broken 😄
Those two little handles painted like wood and put side-by-side would make a pretty little fence across the front of one of your crafts.
Totally right to pick up the jam pot!! Liked the wire too! 😂can’t wait to see the beads cleaned up!!!
You are such a lovely couple. I just love watching your videos. Thank you
Love you both,now and always.✌️❤️❤️
Some great finds 🤩🤩🤩💖💖
I bet that fellows head was a whiskey bottle stopper! Great finds, mudlarking with you guys are on my bucket list!😊
I think you deserve to keep that little jam pot...it's to special to leave behind 🙂
I absolutely loved the doll’s teapot! All other finds were fab ofcourse. Wish there were snowy dumps in the Netherlands…thanks for taking us along.
Thanks so much! 😊
Glad Snowy dump is still giving up gems, Mick found some good things and how on earth did you spot that beautiful marble. Enjoyed watching as always 🙂
Who knew buttons were so complicated. Lol
Hello everyone from Ky.
I LIKE THE THINGS YOU FIND WITH FACES AND HEADS ON THEM.DON'T TAKE ANY CHANCES SARAH WITH THOSE HOLES I AM GLAD MIC IS THERE TO PULL YOU OUT IF YOU GET STUCK.
Johnson's Glo-Coat was a liquid floor wax- you just spread it on the floor with a damp mop. Old waxes needed to be buffed and polished, so the reason for their slogan
I love those screw tops with Bakelite lids. I wish I had the finger nail polish and the pink one.
Well once again another absolutely awesome video that first dump seemed amazing I loved the figure head in fact it was a real eye feast with gem's I loved Mick's history on buttons lol thanks again for sharing your adventure with us Manchester Mudlarks the best on the tube by far very far
Another great video with some fantastic finds.
Hiya love the square lid. The unusual head was interesting. The little handle at beginning of video looks like a piece of bamboo. Glad Mick is feeling better. Love Helen Kaz
Hi lovely to hear from you hope your keeping well x
Actually Mick was kinda right about one hole buttons. Told tell him he was right, lol, would give him the big head. The one hole buttons actually had wire similar to a head pin and on the under side it was formed in to a loop for sewing on clothing.
The little head you weren't quite sure of I think it might be a wine bottle stopper for once you have opened it.xx
Looked so fun! You found alot! I swore I seen other things you didnt, but maybe was a nothing
Lovely finds today ❤
Hello Rachel 👋🏻👋🏻
Love your story at this rubbish area Mick - perfect setting
Great buttons story 😂✌️✌️🤘🏻🤘🏻
Another great lark guys, some lovely finds 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
I absolutely love you both! Such a breath of fresh air. Mick’s button history lesson made me think of Robin Williams “Human Anatomy” skit. If you haven’t seen it, it’s very funny. ❤
Nice lark Mick & Sarah!
Great larking!
I think the Johnson’s Glo-Coat is a wood polish. Johnson’s still manufactures floor and furniture polish here in the U.S.
That was a really neat old bottle!
Use the teapot as a vase
Glad you didn't go in the deep hole Sarah. Don't think you would've got out.
Take it. 😂
I can’t wait to see the beads cleaned up
You are a Mudlarker so you can break your rules any time you want. Especially when you don’t have one like that!!!
You are justified❤
Maille mustard
always an awesome hunt you guys
The Johnson’s bottle may have been floor wax. My Mother used to use it on the linoleum. She just spread it on and let it dry. I have never seen it come in a bottle that small. The bowl you put the marble in may be glowy glass.
Wow, a wonderful video yet again, so many wonderful keepers ❤
I would pick up the pipe stems as I am trying to collect enough to make a wind chime, a bit of a way to go yet 😂 x
That's a great idea!
Thanks, they sound beautiful when they chime together, I would love to put vintage beads om too but I don't find many of those either so I may have to cheat and buy a vintage bead necklace! 😂
Could you take some kind of saw and cut the pipe stems in smaller pieces, paint them and make beads out of them?
Northern Mudlarks actually did just that, they have a video on their channel!
You found some great things
Oh how I’ve missed Mick’s history
The male figure looks like a bottle stop.??? He is super. Don Quixote? That comes to my mind, big hat and a beard, but might be a Cavalier ❤❤❤ Super finds. I tend to message whilst watching, is that weird? My brain holds nothing...
Maille is Dijon mustard hun😊
Don't die yet Mick....I am enjoing the history of buttons lol !
Sarah, could the red bead be a button? I had fancy buttons on my cardies in the 50s. Thankyou for a great lark as usual x
👍
Could that head/hat be a bottle stop or "cork" of some kind?
Yes on the jam pot !!!!!👍👏🫶🏻❣️
Sarah, would the stamping in the ginger beer bottles work on the gel pad to make prints?
Is that man Sancho Panza? thanks all❤
Love the opening song , what is it called
could that head be a bottle stop?
I love that pipe
You never had red coral jewelry before?
