100% of ppl in this area are either Mexican nationals or U.S citizens of Mexican descent, most of them speak no English at all including those working at UETA Duty Free stores.
English is a foreign language in this area same like any border area from San Diego, California to Brownsville, Texas.
No Spanish no work for you in Mexico North.
You feel like you're rather in Rural Mexico than in USA.
Born in Brownsville Texas
Just heard news about the kidnapping 👀

Plenty of gringos like myself were born here. Lived here forever. Nice, quiet place to live. Many speak english on the Mexican side, but I prefer speaking spanish. They respect you more for speaking their language. Spend a couple of years here instead of a day. Your opinion of this area will change.
Sure, first BUILD THE WALL (NOT FENCE!) similar with the BERLIN WALL I personally touched with my own hands in 1981/83/85, no more illegals getting into the country (that's America, United States OF America), and then we'll talk again, in English ONLY.
Deal?
How safe is it to travel there as a tourist???
@@Mar12476 It's a lot better than a few yrs ago. My tips: Don't dress up. Don't wear fancy jewelry. Try to blend in. Theives and con men look for the rich, well to do types. Carry a picture ID. I wouldn't have a debit card on you. Carry cash. Keep emergency cash in your sock or somewhere bad guys would never look. NEVER travel alone. Don't drive into Mexico. No firearms. Not trying to scare you off but this is Mexico. Different culture, different laws.
@@sun622 why don't drive into Mexico
@@matthewlee2686 2 reasons. First the traffic lines are ridiculous. Long, long waits. I remember waiting well over an hour to return to the US.
Second is Napoleonic laws. IF you have an accident there, they take you to jail. In Mexico, you are presumed guilty until proven innocent. How would you like to spend time in a jail with THEIR criminals? Far worse than ours.
i came to this video to observe the entrance / crossing of the border. This looks like any other hood in the US. RIP the two black men killed two days ago by C*****.
Im mexican im in mexico right now
Nice video, I would like to see the other side, entering from Mexico to Brownsville is one of my DReams,, because this remember me my first time I entered to USA The first city I knew was Brownsville in my childhood, and I have not never seen that again, I hope so.

Es la cd.mas desagradable que he visto,es una cd.sin futuro una cd. que da lástima de cómo se vive aquí
In this video: no border crossing
My uncle did swim across the Rio Grande mexico matamoros
Rio Grande is the international border btwn two sovereign countries.
Swimming across the river from one side to another and back is an ILLEGAL entry into both countries that deserves arrest with immediate punishable consequences.
@@ChrisRoadWarrior depends what year was it ...back in the day it was common to cross since we are one United region
Chris RoadWarrior 😂😂😂
@@ChrisRoadWarrior my family did it too😎
My cat really enjoyed watching this video twice.
🥱
Well at least he kinda sorta got almost in the right lane to go to Mexico and then chickened out. I cross right there every day. But walking.
"...then chickened out..."

Radar detectors are good if you are about to get into Mexico or Canada.
And why your particular statement does not apply to USA too?
Please explain.
Matamoros/ Brownsville
*If you yurn left where the big yellow add board is there is a crack stow*
You NEVER crossed to the Mexican side. Need to change your title.
Also, you only showed part of ONE street to ONE of 3 bridges. That bridge has 2 major streets to that bridge.
Did I say crossing into Mexico like in this very video of the very same border crossing?
ruclips.net/video/6EF4C6cl-P4/видео.html
Btw, for the past three years I ALWAYS legally and lawfully carry a firearm AND ammo in my car therefore crossing into Mexico is out of the question.
Chris RoadWarrior you are trying to go to jail in Mexico lol. U understand u can easily get shot dead if a cop sees your gun in Mexico and if u shoot anyone in Mexico they will extradite you and u will stand trial for life in jail
Cuando visitas Brownsville haz de cuenta que estas en un pais tercer mundista. Pobreza por todos lados y la gente no cuida su apariencia. No es buen lugar para vivir, Matamoros menos !!!
Good morning Chris👍
If I wanted to hear an annoying beeping sound I’d call my fax machine
I live in Brownsville
I grew up in Cameron Park back in the 80's
Is it safe crossing from.usa to mexico
*NO!*
@@ChrisRoadWarrior yes
I’ve been crossing every weekend since 2015 (apart from the pandemic) and it’s super safe. The worst time was actually when this video was recorded. It is extremely safe rn relative to recent years. Chris is dumb
3:01 hah, The black truck with the Mexican flag!
Si llega al borde lo deportan.
despues de la frontera
Search Edward Jesse arce
Did you just show your driver's license!?!? And thats it?
I don’t think so
So much for crossing the border. And by the driver's horn, should I assume they're driving a Prius or some other sissy car?
Here you go Nancy:
