This was an underrated season for him. He led the team to the 3rd seed with Bosh missing the whole second half of the season. Wade at 33-34 still had the signature moves he just wasn't as wasn't as fast as before but he was healthy and fresh
Probably Wade's most underrated season. Heat still finished with like the 5th seed, and i remember some people even saying they could beat the Cavs tht yr.
he shot a whopping 52.2% from THREE in these playoffs. something the two greatest 3 point shooters of all time, stephen curry and klay thompson, have never done in a single playoff run. never mind the high degree of difficulty three’s he was making at his peak from the 08 olympics to the 2011 finals. truly the best ever with no weaknesses.
Might be a hot take but this has to be a candidate for the best comeback as a player in recent history. Everyone wrote dwade off after the '14 finals with one knee and overweight, got in the gym and got his bounce back, added the float game. Took his team to game 7 in the second round without his Bosh and had some classic games in those playoffs
Man wade was so great ppl really forget how he was…he’s not only the best Heat player to ever live…he’s one of the greatest players as well up there with Kobe and Michael….imagine if he didn’t have such bad knees he’d probably easily surpass Kobe imo
This season always gets forgotten, but wade played extremely well this season, post lebron going back to cleveland. his advance stats maybe werent the greatest but his value for the team was immeasurable.
The year we would’ve finally seen a lebron vs Wade playoff series. But the refs cheated Miami out of it in round 2 game 7. To this day one of the most disputable officiating in a playoff game.
@@go_423 your crazy to think a healthy bosh couldn't give them a series win over the Cavs, did you not see bosh was playing his best basketball before the blood clots

This Heat team was insanely good. The NBA wanted nothing to do with this team, as it was biggest threat against the Nba giving Lebron the keys in Cleveland. NBA never allowed Chris Bosh & Wade to get into playoffs together, holding out Bosh halfway through 2 consecutive seasons. In the 2nd round this year after finishing 3rd in the East, Hassan Whiteside mysteriously had to miss the entire series against the Raptors over an injury no one ever saw. A healthy Amare Stoudamire never got to enter & play against the Raptors considering after losing to CB & Whiteside, he was our best available big. We went to get grossly out-rebounded against the Raptors throughout the series & lose a game 7 in Toronto. Toronto gets swept by Cavs in ECF. That Cavs team would have never swept this Heat team. They were stacked. Ppl are starting to wake up to the league showing just how rigged they are these days. But this year they made it very obvious, & have been obvious about it ever since. Very unfortunate. This was a fun year for the Heat yet a disappointing turn of events. The Heats “minor rebuild” officially began after this season.
Legit probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite season from Wade
Same
Personally this is a top 3 favorite season of mine from Wade.
Word this Wade season mad overlooked
That’s cause all he had was himself fr

Wade is back to his playing style when lebron leaves miami
If Bosh was healthy, they'll make it to ECF.
It's funny that Wade uses a shooting sleeve on his left arm but he's a right hand shooter 🏀🔥
Damn they finished 3th seed without lebron and chris bosh
31:55 😭😭 purple shirt man has to sit his azz down that boi Wade live for moments like that purple shirt man was drunk
Man if only we saw Dwyane Vs. LeBron in the Playoffs 😭

I feel like if the Heat team stayed healthy these playoffs they would of won the finals. Bosh was so crucial
They wasn’t beating the Cavs would’ve been a fun Series tho

this was the last season of a still all star caliber wade he fell off a cliff in 2017 and lost so much speed
Nah he was still the same guy with the Bulls he just wasn't the 1st option there like he was in Miami

telling you, if we have a healthy bosh this year we give the Cav's a run for their money and finally get a Lebron/Dwade series
What if 2006 version of wade played on that season ?
man had it not been for bad knees and bad luck with Chris Bosh, they could've contended
If whiteside didn’t roll that ankle I’m not sure the raptors would have made it out of that second round series
