I feel like this season he came into this season too heavy like you can tell he was just bigger than years prior

This was the year where we saw Wade transition (because of age and injuries) from a 6’3 above the rim player, to a more natural (for ppl 6’3 and under) under the rim player. He was a mid range assassin this year. Our Wade of old was officially gone by the start of next season (in fact, I remember this years playoffs, he was already beginning to seriously slow down). What a treat to watch him grow in Miami through the 2000’s. From Zo and Hardaway, to Wade bringing our 1st chip, and making sure Zo got one before he retired. A true G! 🙌🏽

If whiteside didn’t roll that ankle I’m not sure the raptors would have made it out of that second round series

2011 was the best d wade in my opinion it’s not just about stats I can care less about that it’s the way he played and how he handled his game most people favorite d wade is maybe 2006 or 09 (healthy) but 2011 he was really like that 2011 was the last super elite year of wade and that’s a fact I watch his 2012 and 2013 highlights he played great……..but nowhere near the same and that’s why people can’t argue with me 2014 each year after just started to slow down 😢 doesn’t matter he gave us great memories God gave us a great player I actually met wade in 2012 he’s a great dude but he looked tired I pat him on the shoulder and said your a phenomenal player he told me thank you then I left to many people lol

Crazy to know that this man at 37 after all those miles, injuries, & having almost lost his entire explosive ability, this man still averaged 15/4/4 in 26min while shooting 43% from the field. To put that into perspective, Wade for his career shot 48% which includes his prime; Westbrook is one of the freak’est athletes the league has ever seen & for his career he shoots at 43%.

This Heat team was insanely good. The NBA wanted nothing to do with this team, as it was biggest threat against the Nba giving Lebron the keys in Cleveland. NBA never allowed Chris Bosh & Wade to get into playoffs together, holding out Bosh halfway through 2 consecutive seasons. In the 2nd round this year after finishing 3rd in the East, Hassan Whiteside mysteriously had to miss the entire series against the Raptors over an injury no one ever saw. A healthy Amare Stoudamire never got to enter & play against the Raptors considering after losing to CB & Whiteside, he was our best available big. We went to get grossly out-rebounded against the Raptors throughout the series & lose a game 7 in Toronto. Toronto gets swept by Cavs in ECF. That Cavs team would have never swept this Heat team. They were stacked. Ppl are starting to wake up to the league showing just how rigged they are these days. But this year they made it very obvious, & have been obvious about it ever since. Very unfortunate. This was a fun year for the Heat yet a disappointing turn of events. The Heats “minor rebuild” officially began after this season.

he shot a whopping 52.2% from THREE in these playoffs. something the two greatest 3 point shooters of all time, stephen curry and klay thompson, have never done in a single playoff run. never mind the high degree of difficulty three’s he was making at his peak from the 08 olympics to the 2011 finals. truly the best ever with no weaknesses.
