The bottom screen is configurable, & you can put what controls you want on the top screen on the bottom screen as shortcuts. You can place the air con off button on the bottom screen by holding it for several seconds.
Had one of these for 2 weeks. Amazing car and would definitely buy one if I had the money. Only issue for me was the storage, hardly anything practical upfront for sunglasses ect. And the boot was smaller than our 2024 Forester. Wish it had buttons as well instead of the haptic screen. Other than those two issues it was an amazing car and would buy in a heart beat.
Hey matt, Just did a test drive on the Audi Q7, it was a smooth ride, top-notch technology, and spacious with high-quality interior. It balances performance and comfort. However, it's a bit too big for me, while great for families, btw I thought the 3rd row feels snug for someone my size 😆. Looking for something smaller in a SUV or a mid-size sedan, so I’ll keep watching your videos. keep up the great work!
Purchased one after coming from an Everest Platinum and boy...what a car. And really good value too. And I always wanted an RS6 but the wife likes higher riding cars, so this is perfect. And for $1650, I can always get the engine tuned to the same as an RS6 (just have to convince the missus).
If you regularly use the back row for people then probably the X7 would be the go, if you need 7 seats on the odd occasions and you’re not looking to put basketball players back there it’s definitely the vehicle to have if you can afford it, sepang blue, black pack and sports pack (sports diff and trick anti roll bars). This new facelift comes in under new packaging now here in New Zealand and the vorsprung der technik gives you 95% odd of the available options and it works out slightly cheaper than optioning the previous version to the same spec so that’s good I guess.
Matt ,as you mentiomed its a luxury Suv. But the price point is up there ,i personally think the Nisssn y62 warrior is a Good buy for family budget .& towing is the or very similar . Thamk Matt .😅
So the car you tested is almost $210k with options before on roads. That’s almost $250k in NSW drive away for a “value for money” SUV. I think you may have lost some perspective Matt
Seems like an amazing car... but at 175k base with no heated and ventilated seats... seems... a little off putting for a "luxury" car. I guess it's more performance than luxury..
@therightcar Yes, I have a 2018 version, and the diesel is fantastic, I don't want 7 seats to many cracks for rubbish to fall down. And it has a spare wheel even if you have to inflate it to use it. Plus 6.1 litres per 100 km on a trip.😊

Call me old fashioned but I really like the silver contrast on red

Great comments mate 👍
Thanks mate!

Thanks mate! Yeah, the Nissan offers a different experience - and a different type of practicality.
Might seem like a stupid question but I was wondering how this compares to a Lexus RX 350h you had reviewed earlier?
Thanks mate - it’s a pretty different type of car! Like, this car makes you feel alive. The Lexus makes you feel like you’re driving a car.
Is the sport differential the same as the one in the RS3?
7-seater skids!!
No

I never said it was “a value for money SUV”. I said it offers value compared to its rivals.

I'm waiting For XB7 And Maybach GLS competitor From Audi
There will be a Q9. Bank on it.
Original front end still the best of this generation
Nice vehicle, but only a glorified VW Touareg. I'd buy the Touareg 170 for $95,000 drive away. 😊
Hahahahaa except the Touareg is a diesel V6 with five seats.
