Thank you so much. Truly... I live in Iran which means i don't have access to ANYTHING that requires paying. Which is almost EVERYTHING!! So i really really appreciate a free bundle of quality photos i can use within my work. Thank you💓
Thank you so much. I needed to add text to a painting to make it look like it had been painted in and your brushes and creased paper images made it look so believable. Rare to find decent tech videos these days.
thanks for this video dude - i learned a lot and i got stuck at two places: 1. there's no star shape, use polygon tool and look at properties/watch a tutotrial 2. magic wand tool didn't select properly for me, so someone in the comments shared this: select an item of the colour - go to top menu -> select -> color range and using the eye dropper select that colour

When selecting the colors to seperate for each layer, instead of using the magic want tool and selecting them by hand, the easiest and most efficient way to select all of them would be going to the top menu > select > color range > then using the eye dropper tool for each color.
Another solution is to simply uncheck "contiguous" in the magic wand parameters. It will then automatically select every pixel of the same color within the entire document. I'm actually surprised he didn't do that, but I guess even Photoshop experts can't know everything. :)
Hello there Spoon Graphics! I’m new to design like seriously diving into it. So I need inspiration to create my portfolio. I happen to like this poster since I like retro. Just letting you know one of my artwork is inspired by you. Hoping no problem! Thank you!!!
Hi Chris, old vinyl albums from the period can give you lots of inspiration. Do check out the covers of K-Tel collected hits on vinyl LPs. :-) I do wish you'd mention this channel more in your mailing because these video's are a great resource too!

Great tutorial, thank you. Made it to 9:28 but cannot select all "red" elements, because they are on different layers! >.< You cannot use the magic wand tool if multiple layers are selected either! I had to merge all the visible layers, then use the shift+magic wand method to select the colors, and paste them into an entirely new PSD file. After that, I closed my main design, did NOT save it, and re-opened it. After which, I took the Red/Yellow/Brown layers from the new PSD and copy/paste them back into my design. I had to move them around to align them. This was a LOT of extra steps that was not covered in the tutorial. Also, I had a hard time finding a "lair" in Photoshop! >.< I found many "layers" but definitely no "lairs"! :P Furthermore, the so-called "free" brushes are hidden behind a membership or $10 fee, so not exactly free. -.-
Thanks for the tips. I have a question if anyone can help. How do you select the colours with the magic wand without having their layers selected, as you did in the video? It doesn't work for me, I had to merge all the layers and then, with this new layer selected, I could use the magic wand and pick each colour and create the colour separation layers...
There's a setting in the top toolbar for 'Sample All Layers', give that a try. It's something I should have mentioned in the guide but it's easy to forget if you have it set up that way all the time!
When you have opened the symbols panel you should click on the little gear icon, you have all the symbols presets, then select shapes and you will have your star preset

How were you able to select various areas on one layer and when selecting the red triangle not select "with all the trimmings?"
Nice
