You are one of the best youtubers in design so far, for real! I love the way you explain things and the kind of art you deliver, plus a lot of very original contents like this!
Your videos are very packed with information yet so fun to watch! Been thinking how to do this for awhile and real grateful for this tutorial. Thank you so much! ❤
I tried to replicate it.... ended up watching the rest of the video wit AI and PS closed... great job!! Wish I will be close to this level in the future :D
Great tut! But, if I found a bowl of grandpa's old school bran cereal I wouldn't be making the yum face like that kid :)) (just playing, please don't roast me)
Hello, Chris Spooner! I have a question: Is it possible to post this work, which I did on my own, on my social networks with a link to your site? Thanks.
Great tutorial, but something is driving me crazy! I can only see the white background layer in the background, rather than the textured paper, if I unlock and hide the background layer I get a transparent bits instead, can anyone help?
I dont know if this is still useful, but if it hapes to anyone, the way to solve it is to transform that image into background layer. To do that you select the image and choose Layer > New > Background From Layer and that converts a regular layer into a Background layer.
Great tutorial as usual, Chris. With Illustrator CC 2023, after installing the 1950s brushes, the app hangs. Is anyone else seeing that? (Seriously, you aren't from England, right? I hear you are a native Texan and you are pretending to be British.)
Actually I just tried something that hasn't crashed AI 2023 with the Guerrilla brushes. I opened the CC Guerrilla brush AI file and saved it as a new AI CC document. So far so good ... They really are great brushes (available thru Spoon Graphics membership subscription).

Hello, I'm a beginner. May I know how to select the congee to apply gradient map. I can't do it. I'm grateful for your teaching.

How can you draw the custom stroke using the pencil tool directly? My pencil tool settings reset automatically whenever I draw a stroke. #help
If you want settings to continue as you draw, ensure "New Art has Basic Appearance" is not checked in the Appearance Panel Menu.
😬😬😬....👏👏👏
