I saw her in concert in the 70's. Wow!!! She had a voice reach into your heart. Her first 2 songs charted on the western charts. But the country singers disrespected her so she moved to more pop. Where she charted #1 many times and broke records the for the time. She acquired several Grammys. But she never sat still. She constantly broke new ground. Taking chances that often shocked her fans. Even alienating some for a time but they came back. It was a love affair that still goes on.
Olivia Newton-John was already a big music star before Grease, but that really propelled her career into the '80s. I was lucky enough to see her in concert almost twenty years ago. She was truly a special person with an incredible voice.
RIP always to Olivia Newton-John!! 🤍🕊 She just recently passed away from breast cancer.

It's amazing to find a soul in this world who hasn't seen "Grease" or know of Olivia Newton-John! It is a treat hearing and seeing your reaction to this incredible talent. She is so much more than "Grease" though. I've followed her career for over 45 years and have been in awe through each stage of her talent and personality! I can't say enough wonderful things about her. I've met her twice in my life and seen her in concert about 7 or 8 times. My heart aches with her passing last month. Many of us knew the battle she was going through with her cancer. Rest in Peace beautiful lady! Please react to more of her songs and movies. Suggestions: "Magic", "A Little More Love", "Twist of Fate". Her versatility will blow you away!
What do you mean you haven’t watched Grease?? My 8yr old self is shook, this was one of the first films I became obsessed with. I’m a 70’s baby, this was released in ‘78 and I wanted so bad to be Sandy! Favourite film of all time, favourite soundtrack. John Travolta’s tweet the day Olivia Newton John died broke my heart, it was signed “Your John, I’ll forever be your Danny and you will forever be my Sandy” 😭❤️

This soundtrack from GREASE went to sell phenomenal amounts in the '70s(Over 30 million copies up to now).Together with SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER are the most iconic soundtracks of the whole decade.
1978 I remember queuing all around to the back of the cinema to see this I was 9 years old and everyone sang along, it was so amazing lol

I clicked so fast as this is one of my all time favorite songs from any artist. I genuinely felt sad when she passed. Much love to her family and to her legacy.
Little fun fact, she was beaten by ABBA in Eurovision and it was what made ABBA become an international success with their debut song “Waterloo” .. would love to see some ABBA reaction and maybe even Mamma Mia the movie.
I love Grease. The character is Sandy, but said in a strong accent. The movie takes a bit of Hollywood blindness, ignoring that some of the actors are in their 30’s, playing 16 year olds. 😂

Check out "Magic" by Olivia Newton-John. Preferably the live show. I can't remember the names of the shows but she was wearing a white outfit in one and a black in the other. She was equally fantastic in both and they were right around in the same time. Incredible, hauntingly magical song
Those performances you're thinking of were on the Midnight Special. And I too love that song Magic, it's really my favorite of hers, although I love almost all of her songs.
Magic was always my favorite too. In fact, both Michael Jackson and John Lennon said it was one of their favorites too.

You can watch Grease, alot of reactors have. the key is to only put in pieces of each musical bit. like different pieces of each song. even multiple pieces of one song as long as the whole thing does not play from front to back. that's how other reactors are getting away with it. and i would LOVE to see you react to it!!!! the fans will know which songs you are reacting to when we hear the pieces of song and of course we know the movie front to back. That movie is so iconic

Omg. She was the '80s Madonna but better and sexier. You should play her song called magic and or suspended in time. She has so many songs and has won so many awards. Truly a beautiful person inside and out. She was more than just a star. She was truly an angel on earth.
