i feel sorry for john.he lost his son while he was still a kid. his wife a couple of yrs ago i think to cancer now his great friend olivia.they always had a special bond from working on grease together.rip olivia a talented beautiful soul!

My daughter was born in 91 and loves Grease. In fact, we went together to the movie theater when they re-released it on the 25th anniversary of the original. Great memories! The impact of the movie Grease on American Pop Culture ( and worldwide) is immeasurable.
Olivia's career dates back to the early 70's ( she was already a pretty big singing talent in country and pop music ) but her career skyrocketed with her role in the movie. Following that role she continued into the early 80s with massive chart topping success.
But more than just her beautiful voice, music and iconic movie role, she was more importantly a better human being. A ray of light , with poise and grace that shined through her natural beauty. She was a humanitarian and gave her time and money selflessly towards breast cancer and a foundation she started on her behalf while battling the disease.
Olivia was a bright light and beacon of hope in an ever changing world that is/was and can be dark.
She was the first crush for many young boys, the desire of millions of men. Young girls and women wanted to be like her and the entire world ....truly loved her.
She was an absolute angel here on earth and was called home way too soon.
Broken-hearted and terribly saddened by her passing but knowing she is at peace.
Olivia Newton John is now a legend and forever an angel too all. ❤️

Life with Recklezz....I have to tell you that Olivia was the first celebrity I ever idolized. I was about 7 years old and after Grease I loved her. My parents bought me many of her albums and I was hooked on all of her music. Growing up I got into so many other music styles but always loved her. I am 48 now and when I heard that she passed away I was kind of passive about it, I think maybe the shock of it. When I just watched this video you did the tears finally flowed. Thank you for that cause it was needed xo

Thank you for doing this, so, so much, Olivia had the pipes, girl could sing, even with through all the wild, new wave, punk techno 80's, she was right there, she had steam, and was breaking through,..I swear, by the time the 80's came, there couldn't have been no one on the planet who hadn't experienced Grease,..she, excuse the cliché, and it speaks true here, truly, Olivia became a household name, even my parents, who weren't really in tune to the current at that time, really, really liked her,..it's few artists of that time that they knew, you know for them, you really had to stand out, show them something, Stephanie Mills, The Ojays, Gerald Levert, AL Green, Tom Jones, another one who stayed prominent after storming us two decades before the 80's,..so many I can't remember, ( Paul Young, mom so liked him, "Every Time You Go Away")that even my parents stopped in their tracks, Olivia was among them, for my parents, who grew up with and lived with in their teenage and young adult years, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Dinah Washington, Mariam Anderson, Aretha, you had to be really, really, really good, I can say in that time period my parents and I were on the same frequency 🥲,..and look at all the talent coming out of Australia, Olivia, Helen Reddy, ACDC, Billy Thorpe,..INXS, isn't that something!, Olivia was, and will always be a jewel,..do keep going,..delve into her music,..that voice,..Rip Olivia,....and Godspeed, to you may you recover and heal well, stay well we love your reactions, Peace ✌

Olivia was my first crush. I was only like 10-11. She had such a beautiful smile and from then on, I always would always compare her smile with every girl. I was sad to hear that the cancer had returned for the 3rd time back in 2018. May she Rest In Peace.
She did a few television shows with the BeeGees. The BeeGees also wrote the theme song “Grease” for Frankie Valli.
She fought breast cancer for decades. She seems impossibly sweet. She sure had an amazing voice.
She was in the movie Grease 1 and Xanadu. She did her own music 🎶 .she fought for 30. Years with her breast cancer and opened her own hospital. RIP 🙏

In Australia we have also just lost Indigenous singer Archie Roach and a favourite singer of this Country's Judith Durham of the Seekers - they were one of the first artists to get world wide recognition of Australian talent..........well worth a look if you haven't.
As a 9 year old kid, I remember loving that version of Sandy and being disappointed that she changed at the end. Such a fun loving sweetheart and these video reactions are helping to say goodbye but never forgotten. We love you, Olivia Newton John 🙏

OMG, I can't believe it. She was my favorite artist when I was a teenager and this song, drove my Mom nuts 🤣🤣. She was so annoyed cause when I got home from school this would be playing loud in my room while I took a shower and while I was studying for a test but She finally gave up bought a set of headphones 🤣🤣, which I was happy about cause that meant I could listen to Prince. I had his record " I wanna be your lover" and when you flipped the record over on its B side, "Soft and Wet"
