Thanks. A lot of people were catching up and some mentioned they were seeing the intro too many times in a row. I thought they were correct. Glad to hear from you again!
For future info there is a product called Screen Tight which are plastic snap on strips for fastening screens on screened in porches that might work for this type of application.
I'll look into it, but with our winds and cold temperatures it might not be strong enough. I bought enough shrink wrap to do the whole thing twice so I'll probably reskin it next fall but with some help this time. There is no better filming situation than that giant light box!
Hey, I have a very helpful and thoughtful nephew Nick too! That was amazing, looks like you’ve completely thought that through before doing it yourself, bravo! What a perfect time for Nick to show up and rescue the sail. That is going to be some huge “shed!” Thanks again! Nena
The shed will have to "grow" toward the driveway next spring when I bring the Elco here to begin work. Will probably add 14-16' of length as the Elco is 35' long. I may be moving the Chris Craft inside temporarily today for the first time. Now that is exciting to me!! Thanks for watching.
Thanks Richard. I wasn't sure who it was when the car pulled in, but I was glad to see a set of strong hands when I realized it was Nick. Glad to have you aboard!
Shrink wrapping boats usually, had someone come up to me and ask if I can wrap their boat building barn across the way on the water at a marina, so it will be windy. Its like 40'x60' and 30-40' tall. Can basically name my own price but have no idea how much work its going to be or what I should charge. Or if I should even attempt it.
I used tricks such as rolling up wood strips into the plastic and tying up with rope. I also waited for a calmer day. Winds are strong here and it can get violent when the plastic is grabbed by the wind. I used the 10 ounce white shrink wrap which is tougher, but recently added new clear to the one side. That new clear was only 7 ounce but unlike the original clear which wasn’t shrinkable, I shrunk the new one. It’s wayyyy quieter in the wind! I’m beginning to make videos again this month. There will be updates on the boat shed. It still has the original white plastic which is in good shape still.
Very impressed, making a frame and cover to paint my 42' Chris Craft. you inspire me. Thanks
I’ll be putting new shrink wrap on mine next fall. This time I’ll be getting some help.
Always good to have a nephew Nick, they can be handy ...
That is true, wish he lived closer.
I know how tough it is working on projects like this. Good job.
Sometimes I look ok back at building it mostly alone and wonder what I was thinking :)
I like the subtle changes to your intro segment. Another well made video. We only have one kind of winter in Saskatchewan and it lasts for 7 months!

@@glassgoat9601 They are pretty rigid. The base screws on then the plastic over lays the two channels that the cover snaps into over the plastic.

Well done, that looked a lot of hard work on your own. Glad you’re nephew helped you in the end.

Great job. The boat shed looks great
Thanks! I see you've built a Gothic arch as well. I'm checking out your channel. Glad to have you aboard!
Mammoth effort, I have enough trouble putting netting over my fruit trees. Well done..
Thanks Mac! Glad to have you aboard.
I believe in miracles and we are looking at one in my opinion as you build, virtually alone. Well done Scott
Thanks so much. Looking forward to visiting your studio.\!
Great work- not easy single-handing that stuff. Does moisture build up inside of this and drop?
Yes, but not badly. I have a separate plastic sheet above the gantries which keeps it from dripping on the boat.
