If you could travel somewhere to write, where would it be?

That’s a great point, thank you. It’ll help keep my cabin fever at bay! 🥴👍

My first job was general labour at an unfinished tower in the middle of winter. Good choice for climax material. It was almost in an ombre of completion, between the bottom floors, which even had drywall and were being painted, and the bare bones of those upper levels that were open to the air. In between, at least in that building, you had this forest of metal drywall studs making rooms where, depending on completion, you can either step right over to where you want to go or have to make your way through the seemingly delicate maze to figure out how to connect your way through the quarter concealed proto-rooms that you don't know the layout of yet. There was also the slow upwards creep of completed windows, plumbing, and electrical. The mixture of all these things in those pale concrete halls of the foundational structure was what made it visually compelling to me. Ahem, that's all to say that I got excited by imagining a books climax in a similar setting. I'm cheering for you

This is a really fun video! I edited a book for a client set in New York last year, so it's certainly a setting I enjoy seeing stories in. Also - loved how you edited the words to appear on the sides of buildings. Great stuff.

Dang maybe I should do this when I finish my sequel to a story set in a place like California (alternate universe, but basically where Cali is on the map) and even where I do like, it's basically like that anyway lol
I do have a story planned for a place parallel to New York City
