This video shows you how to setup a basic Flex Innovations Super PNP model that has Flaps. We are setting up the RV-8 10e SUPER PNP model with a Spektrum 4651T receiver and DX6 transmitter.
The RV-810e features one of Auras latest features the Flap Systems Menu. The Flap Systems menu is already setup for the Rv-8 10e out of the box, all you need to do is assign a 3-position switch to Channel 6.
You can fully customize the stock RV-8 10e's flap settings to be your own or create your own flap settings or mixes.
This Video will help with RV-810e, Cessna 170 G1/G2, all of the Flex innovations EDFs & Any Flex Airplane developed with Flaps moving forward.
*FOR THE FOLLOWING STEPS MAKE SURE THE PROPELLER IS NOT INSTALLED*
Aura likes to see a basic Model in your Transmitter (1 Aileron, 1 elevator, & 1 Rudder). Make sure that your Aircraft type has the Wings and Tail set to "Normal" then you can move on to setting up your servo travels. Go into the Servo Setup Menu and make sure that you have the the travels set per the manual. No expo, trims, or differential should be programmed into the transmitter.
Assign a 3 position switch to Channel 5 for the 3 Flight modes assigned in Aura. At this time, confirm all the flight surfaces and throttle are working and moving the correct directions.
Assign a 3 position switch to Channel 6 for your Flaps that are setup in Aura. The RV-8 10e has pre-set flap settings + mixes but you can customize them to be your own.
Install the propeller and spinner and proceed with your Maiden flight. Trim as needed and follow the "Quick Trim" steps shown in the video.
    QUICK TRIM:
    1) Land the airplane in the Flight mode you were trimming and do not power down the Transmitter. Power down the plane and remove whatever servo wire is plugged into Port S3 and replace it with a BIND PLUG.
    2) Keep your Transmitter powered on and leave the flight trims alone. Power up the plane with the BIND PLUG still in Aura port S3...Aura's blue LED with begin to flash SLOW. Remove the Bind plug from Aura, this will make the blue LED flash FAST.
    3) While the blue LED is flashing FAST center your Transmitter Trims and plug the original servo wire back into Aura Port S3. Power down the plane and that completes the quick trim process.

Please where can I get the original file that comes pre-loaded on the RV860EG2 ? A friend accidentally lost the setup and apparently what is in the configuration tool is not 100% the same as what comes pre-loaded.... Thanks

How do I get crow working on the 60e rv8? The quick set up guide video procedure doesn't work and have gotten inconsistent and incorrect controls from changing the flight modes using the procedure in the quick set up guide video. I tried changing things in the configurator with no luck. Iv emailed flex multiple times with no response. Pretty frustrating..... spent $700+ and can't even get an email back?
