- Final Fantasy VII Walkthrough with defeating Emerald Weapon.
Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon constitute the two most challenging fights in Final Fantasy VII. Neither of them are required to complete the game - they are essentially an added level of difficulty for those who wish to continue playing and challenge themselves.
PREPARATION
*Knights of the Round Materia (RED) - This will be your primary attack against Emerald Weapon as it is capable of doing the most amount of damage.
*HP Absorb Materia (PURPLE) - Link with Knights of the Round when using it your HP will be recovered.
*W-Summon Materia (YELLOW) - This Materia will allow a single character to cast the Knights of the Round summon twice in a row. Make sure that you equip it to the same character that you equip Knights of the Round Materia to.
*Mime (YELLOW) - This Materia can be retrieved from one of the Materia Caves. You need to master it in order to create a second copy of Mime Materia so Cloud can recast Knights of the Round / W-Summon both have a Mime Materia.
*Counter Materia (PURPLE) - To counter and recast Knights of the Round when your character Cloud gets attacked.
*Cloud level at 99 with Ultima Weapon
Have the character (Cloud) to cast W-Summon Materia and Knights of the Round Materia summon twice and you can put the controller down and wait for Emerald Weapon to fall within 10 minutes.
Rebel group known as AVALANCHE joined by Cloud Strife an ex-member of Shinra's elite squad known as SOLDIER strike against Shinra's huge Mako Reactors that surround the city of Midgar. Barrett leader of AVALANCHE, Jessie, Biggs and Wedge accompanies Cloud to stop Shinra and save the life of the planet.
Final Fantasy VII is a 1997 role-playing video game developed by Square for the PlayStation console. It is the seventh main installment in the Final Fantasy series. The game's story follows Cloud Strife, a mercenary who joins an eco-terrorist organization to stop a world-controlling megacorporation from using the planet's life essence as an energy source. Events send Cloud and his allies in pursuit of Sephiroth, a superhuman intent on destroying their planet.

Ive got a few games in mind when i finish Yakuza 7 and Naruto Storm, i thought its best for me to branch outside of Final Fantasy to expand and grow the channel by playing other japanese rpg and anime gaming. Dont worry i will be coming back to play FF 😁
So you knew SE would do this all along? Basically ditching ps4 players unless they have change heart there bound to get complaints I think. Yuffie does look cool but it's just one chapter about her I take it and why she's come to midgar
I wouldn’t say I knew all along I had my suspicions SE will do this especially PS5 console release and typical big companies like them always re release remaster or definitive edition they have done this in the past with most of the FF and I didn’t expect them to NOT do it on their most successful FF game. It’s looks like they introduce 2x additional new characters alongside Yuffie, I dk why she came to Midgar? All they mention was she is here to collect a Ultimate materia. We need to voice it so everyone can tell SE to release this content to PS4 owners
Hi there my friend how's you? My ps5 arrived today cost me quite a bit but I thought why not as I can afford one. It's the disc edition gonna set it up likely next month or so just question about ff7 remake would we have to play game from the start again or can we play yuffie dlc straight away

I first played final fantasy 7 when I was 15 years old. I’m 41 now and I still haven’t beat the emerald weapon or the ruby weapon!
That’s impressive but not to fear I have video on how to beat emerald and ruby I hope you can defeat them, I started this game at the same age and it was my first final fantasy experience and never looked back.

Additionally you can 1 hit kill him with Cait siths game Over limit break if your lucky enough to trigger it.

There's a way to beat him even that's faster and easier. Only works with cloud due to the numbers his lvl99 hp sit at. Keep adding various summon and casting materia with -2%,-5%,and -10% to hp until the last two digits of his hp are 77. Then put your HP plus materia back on and use potions until his HP land on 7777. You'll start the battle with lucky 7's and wipe out 3/4 of his HP within the first minute.

I might just try beating Emerald Weapon without the Underwater materia. But dang it. This is amazing! Never thought of this combo ever...
With this strategy i can assure you the Underwater materia will not be needed for this fight ;) good luck!
Actually EVEN at 9999 PER Knight it still TAKES 25 to 30 minutes even under 1x speed to off it so you still MUST remove the timer when using KoTR + Mime it even WITH the Infinite HP and 3x speed cheats BOTH used.

Yeh same kinda thing with me they are like mega bosses quite few people struggle with it so your video will come in handy I think. Apparently there is pictures of enemies that were unused in the remake maybe saving them for part 2 perhaps seen these on some video
@@joemcpeake8739 I love taking on these weapons or optional bosses it really challenges us whether our method & character development was done correctly. That would be juicy I heard there was a few monsters and story concept wasn’t used in part 1 I hope they will bring it in part 2. I read yesterday that there was 4x separate physical Sephiroth in part 1 walking around this information was released in FF7R Ultimania.
There bit with tifa which was cut from the game and I noticed you can't access lower floor at seventh heaven perhaps dlc content maybe. Saw there some weapons and monsters that were unused perhaps saving them for part 2.
One thing I really enjoy about final fantasy is that you never know what enemies are lurking round the corner.
@@joemcpeake8739 I was abit disappointed we couldn’t go downstairs in Seventh heaven bar I keep questioning myself I was sure we could go downstairs in the original lol.. final fantasy always has great designs on monsters and characters with mysteries to solve. I wonder will Neo Bahamut or Bahamut Zero be the nxt strongest summon in part 2 and bring KoTR in part 3?
This sandwich taste good brother I prefer roast beef on toasted white bread with lettuce tomatoes onion and some Mayo. It even taste better watching emerald get his rear end kicked sideways. I hope knights of the round is implemented into FF7 remake. Whether it’s part 2,3,4 or even 5 of the remake it doesn’t matter. Just as long as they’re in it!

For me emerald was a lot more easy than ruby weapon lol. And have you noticed that the past kings of lucis in ff15 are the knights of the round ?
I agree i did tackle Emerald first cause i knew his strategy was simple to counter but Ruby is a whole new ball game. Got a video coming soon how to defeat Ruby stay tuned for that! I forgot KNIGHTS IN FFXV are the KoTR interesting point and reminder i might research more on that does that mean FFXV and FFVII are related?
@@StrictlyGaming_1 yeah ruby is complicated in my opinion lol. I’ve only beaten ruby once. Looking forward to that video! And I’m kinda hoping they are connected in some way. But ffx and ff7 might be connected because in ffx2 the al-bhed kid shinra is spotted in a picture frame as an adult in the presidential suite in ff7 remake.

@@StrictlyGaming_1 It did, beautifully. I just watched your Ruby walkthrough. I used a different strat to defeat the weapon, per courtesy of 4-8 production's "no button" strategy. However I had to supplement his strat with yours because I believe knights of the round (KoR) has been patched to only be used six times as oppose to 10 times at the time 4-8 posted his findings, KoR being a critical component. In my amended strat I only had to use Mime to override the KoR cap use. The materia combo as follows: [ Placed on Ultima Weapon] Revive lvl 1 w/ Final attack, (KoR w/ final attack) x2, HP plus (optional), HP to MP materia, (placed on armor - used fire armlet to absorb Ruby's fire attavks) W-summon, Mime w/ counter. Also used Ribbon for accesory. However my amended strat didn't include reviving my other party members as that all characters were maxed and all the materia I needed were maxed as well, having no need for exp and AP. I wouldn't use ultima weapons, cause emerald dragon gives a crap ton of ap, and if you use ultima weapons it will be wasted

It seems long but the strategy I did makes it quicker than average.
I don’t think this works in the iOS version of the game. Counter is called Magic Counter and it doesn’t work with Command materia.
That’s a shame I never played it on the iOS version we would think all versions of the game would be the same. I will be interested to see how you will defeat this boss?
@@StrictlyGaming_1 I kept Tifa and Barret in my party equipped with only an HP Plus and Mime and used them to throw MegaElixers and mime whatever Cloud does. Cloud had KOTR paired with MP Turbo, Final Attack paired with Phoenix, Magic Plus, W Summon and HP plus. I did a double dose of KOTR with the W summon with Tifa and Barrett miming it. Afterwards Cloud got killed, but Phoenix did 9999 damage when I was revived. Then Barret got Lucky 7s and that killed Emerald!
@@dane279 I like this method too slightly different than what I did. Very lucky to get lucky 7. Did you have the underwater materia or did you manage to defeat before 20min? Especially with your setup you be able to take it down quite quickly.
@@StrictlyGaming_1 I did get the underwater materia just in case, I’m not sure how long the battle took though. I saw some other strategies where people said if you max out a character’s health and only give them two materia then you have a very good chance of getting Lucky 7s when Emerald does Air Tam Storm since it does 1,111 damage for each materia.
@@dane279 same here I took the underwater materia just in case but with the strategy I use bringing it was not necessary. I think I’ve only had lucky 7777 twice during my entire gameplay. Did you play Remake?
