No problem, Tony, it works. It just will do more harm than good in the summer. That's why it's best to switch over when temperatures rise in the summer from Ester to Amine
I went out to get my Ryobi backpack sprayer ready. After cleaning and filling with plain water, I found my quick connect from the spay handle to the wand is leaking like a blown artery! The o-ring looks fine, but I replaced it anyway. It still leaks. The wand pushed in and clicks, but there is about a 1/4 of movement once in place. It was an amazon buy, and only about $25. What model do you use, or recommend? I have an entire new hose and good quick connect from the backpack to it's terminal end. Thanks for helping us all with our lawns!
When I'm using a backpack spray, I use a flowzone sprayer. They spray pretty well for what we are using them for, and if something goes wrong, getting replacement parts is easy. Now it costs a little bit up front, but it's worth the buy, in my opinion. Thank you for your support 🙏🏾 Here is a link to some sprayers on GCI Turfs website gciturfacademy.com/collections/diy-spray-equipment
Hi..love your great videos. You're RUclips popped up and just subscribed! What do you recommend for weeds growing through artificial grass? Do you recommend pulling the weeds first and then spraying? We have a crazy overgrowth of weeds in our turf and our rocks that we can't somehow get rid of.
Hello Scott, and THANK YOU for subscribing. I hope that i can help you out in your journey of lawn care. If you have artificial turf and you have weeds continuously growing through them. You can spray those weeds, and you can pull them up. But the main thing is addressing your artificial turf. Weeds are going to continuously keep growing through them. You may have to replace your turf. Otherwise, this will be an every year occurrence. As far as the weeds in the rocks, spray those with a herbicide that is catered to that particular weed. You can find these at your local big box stores.
I’m having a problem in my yard with moss where it’s damp and shady. It’s early spring here in Delaware. What’s the best product and technique to get rid of moss?
Change up does have Ester components in it. This herbicide also has a lot of environmental hazards as well, like spraying near water, has the potential for runoff and drift, you definitely can't spray your lawn when it's close to the transition period when it's about to come out of dormancy. Change-up is a product that I haven't used before djuane, nor do I have any experience in what results that you would get after spraying. I humbly ask that you read the label thoroughly before using and check to see if it is an applicators only herbicide. Sorry I couldn't help any further, my brother. Be Blessed 🙌🏾
Are you doing a split application or just 1 full application? If it is a split application, it's almost time for your last pre emergent application. If full application, you'll be fine 🙂
@PoloFieldsLawnService I did a full application. I'm wondering if I should follow up with spectrazide liquid post emergent sometime in late April or may 🤔
Great video Bro. Now I know why the Speedzone wasn’t as effective for me last summer. 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️Now I know. 😂👍🏽👍🏽

You explain info very well. I also like that you show pictures of weeds so I know what I got. Love the videos. I always learn.
Thank you, Ms. Pearson. I'm glad that you're learning 💪🏾

Check your IG Greg once you get a chance. I gave you a detailed response on that platform 👍🏾
@@PoloFieldsLawnService Thx again 👍🏾
You can’t really treat moss you can blacken it off and harden it with iron but as long as it’s wet and shady “ conditions” moss will be there
Let’s go polo

Polo i am not sure but I think the herbicide called Change Up looks like it has a Ester component in it. Pls confirm...

@raylegend808 If you see any broadleaf weeds, spray them.
@@PoloFieldsLawnService ok thanks
@raylegend808 If you see any weeds now, it's gonna be dandelions, wild violets, or creeping, Charlie. Ortho is your best weapon for those weeds
Polo so I can't use my Triad during the summer time?
@pidoka809 You can. Just be careful with it. You don't want it doing more harm than good
Oh no, I'm not falling for this, ester based herbicides are for professionals I learned this in your last video.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
