This is an absolutely, excellent video! The video content covers a great amount of necessary information and you convey this information in a easy, step by step by way. I have watched several videos on RUclips on this very same subject and your video stands out as one of the best for content and delivery. Well done. Thank you.
Go to lowes or Home Depot, get round up for lawns, and spot spray the wild violets. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO SPRAY YOUR FLOWERS OR SHRUBS because you will kill them as well.
I have overgrown weeds in corner of backyard. Should I weed whack them down then spray something to totally kill them or just spray to kill them that way? Also what spray would be best? What’s best for getting rid of ivy(not the poison kind) too? It was planted many, many years ago & is now out of control. Thank you
@RC-kv9rj Weed wack them down, then spray them. Triclopyr is best for ivy, so if you're using a store bought product, Ortho will work. It will take several applications, though, since the percentage of Triclopyr is low in that particular product. As far as the weeds in the corner, I don't know what weeds they are, so you'll need to be a bit more specific .
Hello dj, Last time I checked, they have a few products at the big box stores that will take care of moss. I haven't used them yet, but I did see them in the weed control section. Moss is an aggressive plant, so if you can address the area where it is, the better off you would be. It likes to grow in areas that receive a lot of shade, areas that hold water, and areas where the lawn is compacted. Fixing these issues should be done first, like cutting back a few limbs so some sunlight can get in that area to dry it up. Relieving some compacted areas or redirecting water so that it doesn't sit in those areas. These are some natural ways to keep moss at bay. Buying products from ANYWHERE will temporarily remove it, but it may have the potential of coming back if the area hasn't changed. Hope this helps 🙏🏾
