Thank you! Adoptions cost WAY less. Usually the dog is older (1-2 years on average), so you see what you're getting personality wise and size. You bypass the puppy stage- overrated. And most important- you're saving a life. Kids don't care if their dog is purebred or not. Only egotistical adults/teens do. Both my boys are captures from my neighborhood (big stray problem in my area- I catch them and turn them over to the municipal no-kill shelter LifeLine). One's a mish-mash mutt of no distinguishable breeds and the other is an APBT/Am Bulldog mix. I wouldn't trade neither of my boys in for the most high falooting purebred dog out there. Not on my life. And I would protect my two boys as if they were worth a million dollars, too. If someone can't love a mutt dog because it don't have a pedigree, that says something about the person, not the dog.
@user-jc8rz2jj9r my babies are rescues I had 3 my ladygirl just passed a few months ago. We had her 8 years the vet said she was about 4 when she rescued us. Maybe later we will look to rescue another dog or cat, we are not ready yet.
This is so sad. What I am going to tell you probably won't help but here goes. You might want to consider yourself (somewhat) lucky. The health problems that can and do arise from these miniature breeds can be quite exhausting as well as budget busting! Especially Yorkies who have a great propensity for retinal detachment (blindness) and trachea collapse. Not only that but they truly cannot be left alone in the yard for the constant fear of being snatched by a raptor! That would have been awful for your grandson to have endured.
This should be very obvious and simple, anytime somebody asks you to buy a gift card and put money on it and tells you to tell them the card number, it's always a scam. No legit person would ever tell you to do that.
That began since the pandemic hit someone is asking for selling puppies and I chatted through my classmates account that was hacked because it was my classmate and I gave my username and I got hacked.
I am sorry this happened to you. PLEASE DONT SHOP ADOPT!!! Never send gift cards first sign of scam.
Thank you!

@@sharonpopolow6874Perfectly said-thank YOU! All of my animals (I’m 65+ so I’ve had a lot) have been rescued from the street or a shelter! God bless.

Meet the breeder and puppy parents face to face to go see the puppy

Purchasing a gift card alone should have triggered it was a scam.
