    Moral of the story: never never never never never never pay for a dog you don't have in hand.

      Exactly. There are millions of dog breeders who have puppies available but the breeders demand a deposit way before the puppies are old enough for new homes.

    3 different people show at my home wanting their puppy.
    They said they paid $350. and were to pay $350 more when
    they pick up the Puppy. I'm in Canada and the IP address was
    Colorado Springs Colorado. After contacting the Police
    we had no more calls or disappointed people come to our door.

    Never, ever buy a dog online. Always meet the breeder, meet the mother and father of the puppy you propose to purchase, look at the facility. Better yet, go to a rescue. There are lovely dogs in need of a home.

    Me and my wife just got scammed for a golden retriever puppy.. we paid through zelle $700 and then we had to pay a crate fee towards the end.. that was the red flag, unfortunately we never got the puppy and was never able to get our money back aswell.. huge lesson learned for us.

    Here’s the problem someone can videochat you with the dog but you still get scammed because they are using the dog for money which is TERRIBLE.

    • @ptnsmuls9393
      @ptnsmuls9393 4 месяца назад +2

      I think I know what you mean, the scammer does indeed have the dog because they video chatted the victim with it, but tell the victim to pay them beforehand and they don't actually ship the dog after they get the payment from the victim. This is why people should go in person and buy the dog in person by paying with cash and not through any payment apps.

    why would law enforcement want to bust a scam in a foreign country in the first place. That should be the job of the law enforcement in the country in question, and even then, those law enforcements don't do their job locally either.

    I live in Italy and I breed imperial shih tzu, my domain has been purchased 14 years ago, my site has been up for 14 years, people should do their research, check the domain name when it was purchased because these scammers shut down their sites and open new ones with similar names. Reverse search photos does not always work or you can find the original real breeder, and they have been stolen, I have quite a few stolen from my site. So now I write the link of my site over the photos, in a place that they can't cut off like the ears across the face or neck. No one stole them anymore.

      That's what I do for all of my pets photos. Exactly around the face
      No photo cropping to hide the real owner's name.
