I personally use a long screwdriver tight torques to get that screw out because it’s so deep but that one that you’re talking about isn’t even as bad as the one that’s in the steering column that one’s almost impossible to get out I had to make my own
@@sharpcarco i got it out with a torx bit taped to a needle nose plyer! Lol gotta make it happen, this video helped me find it and how to take the trim off without braking things so thanks for that!
Hey guy, I got to where you are removing that on last bolt on the right and then pull the panel back, but the panel is sitting firm in place.. I took off everything like you say... But that last bolt before you pull the panel out, not sure what else is holding it in place...
I have a 2015 Audi Q7 and the radio sound has quit working. Audi ran their diagnostics and said the problem is the Radio Control Module (Part #4G0035080G) which is located in the interior right rear of the car. Is it near the amplifier your video shows you removing and repairing? Also, do you know of anyone that can repair this module? Larry
Hi Rico You should put it back on because the switch for your tail lights are in it. But most of it just clips in so it’s pretty easy. Hope that helps god bless have a great day!!
So, the question I have is, how to prevent this from happening in the first place. Can you take it apart to protect it costing nothing before the $800.00 amp gets shorted out?
Generally it’s the rear Drains on the sunroof that need to be cleaned out I cleaned mine out and replaced it wasn’t certain if it makes the problem so I didn’t make a video of it but after the year or so, it I had it it didn’t cause any problems When I clean them I was just guessing now I feel very confident in saying that was the problem unfortunately I sold a vehicle so I’m not gonna be able to show you how to do it but drains are located in the back of the glass
@@sharpcarco , thanks . I don’t park under trees, usually garaged and keep it pretty clean. I just believe an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. So I would rather take it apart to clean it before the it clogs and creates a leak.
Quick question pls. When i turn on my engine the is no display from my mmi. Not even for a second i tried buying a new amp and still yet nothing. Also mine says bose but my amp looks different
Well in my situation it did have to be reprogrammed by Audi. Although I have read threads that say that there’s a way to do it over the Internet but I could not figure it out
Yes you need too. Audi dealer here in Central FL reprogrammed it for $169.00 been working great since 2018. The factory one was draining the battery fixed the leak with a 5/8 clear hose and a metal clamp to avoid coming off Audi did a terrible hose hook up on the Q7s.
I think he means Electrostatic Discharge or ESD. Use a wrist ground strap or ground your hand to a metal unpainted surface that is grounded before touching any circuit boards. I used to build PCs and would just ground my hand on a metal surface before touching any components when installing to the mobo.
And obviously you like to point out every single nuance of maybe mistaken speaking or possibly that I am speaking for the Lehman and not people quite as intelligent as you...... heck maybe I’m not as intelligent as you........ I certainly don’t know everything sir or ma’am.......... and I never stated that I did that has nothing to do with what people like to do.
So what typically fails on these B&O amp boards if no water damage is visible? Capacitors or something else over heating?
Thanks man very helpful
That back torx bolt is kinda impossible im completely stumped. Can you give more insight into what you did to get it out?

I have to send my amp out. Can I close my tail gate door with that chrome metal plate off or do I have to put it back on?

Thanks!

There is a way around it. If you have the new amp

If you take a close look at the metal shield, you'll see that the top half is held on by clips. Should come off quite easily by just prying it.
@@agustincorrea3244 Glad I helped!
Came here to say this lol. All my corrosion was inside the metal box.
How powerful this amp is?
Bro plz tell can i use this amp at home if yes how
I’m sure there’s a way to do anything that you want to do but I don’t know how you would do that or why you would do that
Hi name is darcy I have audi A6 2006 my radio is working fine but mmi screen is not working
