It's nice that the Dealer is sharing some work with you, I am sure your labor rate is lower than theirs so both of you make out on jobs like this, will go watch part 2 now Brother.
I've got a strange feeling that could be a parasitic draw somewhere. That may be why the battery was dead.Could be that is the initial concern, but who knows. Does that vehicle need a Battery monitor reset to learn the new one? It does look like the battery has been replaced with a cheaper lower cost, maybe Walmart battery. Makes me wonder if this has been a on going issue that goes further than the battery itself. Enjoy your videos for sure, they are very educational. Thank you!
@bobcombs7138 Yes! the battery monitor was reset off camera, I forgot to mention it in the video, thanks for pointing that out! and the Battery I removed was not OEM so someone installed a cheap Battery in it in the Past! My Pleasure!
I gave it a thumbs down because you didn't talk about adapting the battery at all. These Audi battery swaps have to have the battery adapted to the car or it will not run properly. Also, you only have to remove the 2 front bolts to rock the seat back. At least that's what the 2013 Q7 battery swap is like. Other than that, it was a well edited video.
@6969ZIGGY6969 Lol! The Battery was defective but the vehicle came to us for Limp mode issue that the Dealer Misdiagnosed, check out the video that came out after this one to find out the problem!

Slightly similar problem with mine and the dealership can't find what is wrong. Nice music playlist by the way.

Do you have to reset the battery after replacing? Will it still start and run? And what's the negative consequences of it's run without resetting?
Good content. I can't believe dealers couldn't fix this issue. I watch your videos they're really interesting. Specially electric issues

@starunitmodestus6729 You need to have it diagnosed by a pro mechanic, they should check compression and fuel delivery
How come you has 2 sets of jumper cables on it?
@jasonthomashorn4794 to help it start faster
Why did Audi place the battery🔋under the driver's seat💺? Someone might think the vehicle doesn't run by a battery. It's weird
@richardzulu5733 They put the Battery in a bad spot!!
To protect the battery from temperature extremes and hence extend life.
