I’ll admit Deadpool and wolverine didn’t look as good as it could have (cheap cgi and basically one shooting location the whole time) BUT it was still stupid fun! I hope more with Deadpool arises. Still say Deadpool should take over the Stan Lee cameos
Give credit where credit is due. Most of the budget was on the cameos and the effects were still really great imo. And yes deadpool should be the next cameos since of course he's marvel jesus
Not every cgi was cheap. Maybe one time just before the other deadpool regenerate. Wolverine is in cgi and you can see it. However the rest is dope. To mention the intro had badass cgi.

im surprised the movie was so good despite how rushed it was. Jackman was announced and started training immefietyl and they started filming 5 months later and were planning on having it delivered in a year. Then the writers strike stopped filming and the release date got pushed back just a smidge, and then they had to go back to finish filming. They had that movie done on time, AND under budget. And honestly it show with some of the CGI and locations stuff they did, but hey! It fucking worked cause the story characters, acting and delivery were on fucking point.
Marvel CGI has never been the strongest, I can accept that visuals aren't everything and turn my brain off for those unless they are genuinely that bad.
Endgame and Infinity war set the bar so high up in the superhero genre for me to the point none of the other hero shows or movies to release never even gave me half the hype I felt when I watched Endgame and Infinity War. Also the multiverse sht just destroys any hype, I'm so tired of it

Yeah, post-Endgame, Marvel has been tanking for me, the ONLY movies I actually liked post-Endgame are the two Spider-Man movies and Deadpool and Wolverine

And you have to remember a big part of those movies counted on audiences coming because of nostalgia and seeing who would make a cameo. Which just goes to show they haven’t had a good solid movie on its own in years. Apart from maybe GotG3
Basically, Marvel got greedy. Marvel thought that the name was strong enough that they can forget the core reasons people liked the MCU.
Or believed things that are entirely incorrect. Victoria Alonso I think is the producer that believed fans only care about the powers and therefore, you could give the Ironman armor, Cap's shield, Thor's hammer, Hulks gamma based powers, Black Panther's everything, to any ole person, typically a woman, and fans would love it. Girls would "see themselves" in traditionally male fan properties and want to see them, boys would stick around cuz they love powers, not people. In reality? Borderlands, an IP loved mostly by males, has a girl boss and 2 grandma bosses. On a $120 million budget + marketing, it made about $10 million on its opening weekend. Marvels and Madame Web didn't do much better. Furiosa did terribly and it was a bit unfair as, despite the marketing, Furiosa is reportedly not a girl boss. War of the Planet of the Apes? 100 lb girl at the center of the plot. B.O. disappointment. ITMT: what do girls want? Released this weekend with Borderlands is, "It Ends with Us". $25 million budget chick flick. $50 in its opening weekend. Just give people what they want.

Yk, I remember after Endgame came out I wondered “how is Marvel ever gonna get any better than this? This is not just a movie, it’s an emotion!” And I still think that five years later, as it’s still my favorite comic book movie. It set a bar so high that many are failing to live up to, or at least come close to it.

It’s crazy how Spider-Man (and in a way Wolverine too)is carrying Marvel movies again. I thought that era was done ever since movies like Iron-Man, Captain America, Avengers, etc. started to pop out yet now we’re here.

Even though they were a bit formulaic, there was a consistent level of quality pre-game that did a lot to develop a loyal fan base that would be willing to watch anything they released. Now that they've switch to a quantity over quality approach, it's not worth taking a chance on them in theaters anymore for the most part.
Endgame was just so good.
The Loki series,Moon Knight, and the Wanda Vision. Are you kidding me? If they were movies, they would be a huge success.
Putting No Way Home before Multiverse of Madness doesn't make much sense when you think about the timeline.
WandaVision takes place within a month after Endgame, and Multiverse of Madness is a close sequel to that show.
Far From Home takes place MONTHS after Endgame, and No Way Home is its direct sequel.
Are we to believe that Wanda tried for MONTHS to retrieve her boys from another universe and failed to get America Chavez to the main universe for all that time? As powerful as she is, it shouldn't have taken that long. And she never found out about White Vision having Vision's memories, nor did he look for her in that gap of time?
"Captain Marvel" is so far from an "important Marvel character," I'm REALLY surprised you ACTUALLY said it. Her comic has had more reboots, and more FAILURES, than ANY other character in Marvel history. Maybe you meant that was what the plan was, but it was never actually true. Love your content regardless... 😀
Endgame was the conclusion to an eleven year story. *That* is why stuff afterward flopped. Yes, the quality reportedly diminished _(I personally can't say, as I stopped watching after Endgame),_ but the primary reason is that the overarching story had concluded.

I am surprised you don't discuss Disney's efforts to take male fan IPs and make them girl properties hoping to attract girls while figuring the boys will stick around for the shiny fighting stuff. They were wrong, most recently shown by Borderlands this weekend $120 million budget boy fan IP with a girl boss and 2 grandma bosses and it made $10 million. $25 million budget chick flick also opened, "It Ends with Us". $50 million in its opening weekend.

Tbh it was game over for me once they butchered the Civil War as well as the infinity saga... there was supposed to be everyone! everyone was supposed to die, but instead we get this retconned kiddy stuff that just completely ruined it for me since 2015. Only great Disney marvel movies are the first two Captain America movies because they actually felt like Marvel movies and not some lame modern hair dyed ageneda. As always Disney has ruined everything I loved as a child and held sacred...

I like the Cpt. Marvel CHARACTER a lot... what I do NOT like is Brie Larson's lack of understanding who Marvel's original fans were: middle-age balding white dudes. Yeah, Fiege probably had a talk with her to get her to retract that statement, but it felt forced and inauthentic. Being a middle-age balding white dude myself, I'm not gonna let that go. And I still haven't seen, and don't really plan on seeing the Marvels. I like Photon and Kamala Khan both, a lot also, but if Larson's in it? Blah.
Most people didn't like her because she was too much of an asshole in the movie.

There have been some “acceptable” projects like Doctor Strange 2, Wandavision, Thor 4, Ant Man 3 and Secret Invasion, all of them having a lot of potential but have been ruined by different factors.
Besides these there are some useless projects: Hawkeye, Ms Marvel, The Marvels, She Hulk, Echo etc. Some had potential if done differently and some are just meaningless..
