I got the vest and the arms on Black Friday. Honestly surprised how easy and fast to setup everything is. So far only really played some Vertigo 2 to test it, but I must say, I really enjoy it. Didn't expect it to increase immersion this much, and love the recoil on some of the bigger guns! Looking back on the days of early VR, nowadays I can be in a haptics vest and in game, wirelessly, in a minute or two! Back then I had to set up the cables in the pulley system and troubleshoot. VD and Steam Link has definitely made things far better, and made it much easier to just put the headset on and boot a game.
It's really good news that the gaming sector can move forward with this special 'sense' that we Humans have - touch! Think of it this way - look at how television was LESS than a century ago and then, think of how your 4k TV looks...
seems great but you never wear it. Much of VR is a novelty. It's great the first time but too complicated to set up, so there's little chance one is going to keep using it. Would be cool to see this used with a Mixed Reality game though. Must be very immersive to feel the knife when getting stabbed in your own appartement. Or the recoil from shooting someone in the face in your hallway.
Hi, great review. One question: do you feel where noises are coming from? I play Population 1 and i would like to be able to feel where steps are coming from.
There is, you can even sort by native or mod support, and by platform. My favorite experience with this is actually Ancient Dungeon VR. The vest really enhances the atmosphere of the game

Can I make it hurt?

With the Quest 3 it is very easy to setup, really! With PC is much more complicated.
It's super easy for Quest 3.
@@voodoodevr-en PC isn't complicated anymore. Used to be.

Don't understand the loved comment but no reply. Why is there such little concrete info on supporting Quest 2 or 3 with these suits
Yes. Works with Quest 3 and Pro as well

Does anyone know how to tell if a game has haptics or does every game have haptics?
