@SmartProductsHome I thought about getting the 3s, but I want the 3. I'm curious, are you able to use the headset to zoom in on things in the real world. My eyesight is really bad and I loose stuff all the time. It's like if I drop something like a pen it just dissappears. Could I use the headset to zoom in and find something I've lost? Can I use it as a visual aid?
I got the vest and the arms on Black Friday. Honestly surprised how easy and fast to setup everything is. So far only really played some Vertigo 2 to test it, but I must say, I really enjoy it. Didn't expect it to increase immersion this much, and love the recoil on some of the bigger guns! Looking back on the days of early VR, nowadays I can be in a haptics vest and in game, wirelessly, in a minute or two! Back then I had to set up the cables in the pulley system and troubleshoot. VD and Steam Link has definitely made things far better, and made it much easier to just put the headset on and boot a game.
It's really good news that the gaming sector can move forward with this special 'sense' that we Humans have - touch! Think of it this way - look at how television was LESS than a century ago and then, think of how your 4k TV looks...

seems great but you never wear it. Much of VR is a novelty. It's great the first time but too complicated to set up, so there's little chance one is going to keep using it. Would be cool to see this used with a Mixed Reality game though. Must be very immersive to feel the knife when getting stabbed in your own appartement. Or the recoil from shooting someone in the face in your hallway.

With the Quest 3 it is very easy to setup, really! With PC is much more complicated.
It's super easy for Quest 3.
