Great video!! I see the width for the Rods are 60 mm apart for the chest plate holes, do you happen to know if all the small rig Base plates use that as a universal width.. They show the width for the chest plate but not my current Small rig baseplate.. Such a good idea for getting steady footage hand held! ill be following!!

Ever thought of adding a mini plate with a d-tap battery to help balance it out? Ads weight yes, but sliding it on rails you can make it nice and balanced and then you can run the cam, monitor and light off it
Definitely used to do that but the weight was getting annoying after awhile. Incredible solution for powering a rig though 👌 thanks for watching!

I just bought the FX30 with the XLR top-handle. My problem is that the Rode NTG Mic is to small of a diameter to fit in the microphone hole. Did you encounter the same problem with your Mic? Great Set-Up!
