In my opinion, Federer's greatness, regardless of how many majors he won, will not be eclipsed by any other current player. Having said that, the most important issue that has not been given enough attention is the detrimental attitude of the Australian and American governments regarding autonomy and sovereignty of a person. The damage that these governments have done to professional tennis, the legacy of the player that Djokovic is, has been tarnished by these governments and the history of tennis irrevocably altered by vision less politics. WHEN DID IT BECOME CRIMINAL OR PUNISHABLE TO RETAIN AUTONOMY AND SOVEREIGNTY OVER ONE'S OWN BODY? You, I and every person on the planet should be able to refuse whatever drug we choose WITHOUT PENALTY, as there is nothing criminal about retaining autonomy and sovereignty over one's own body. How dare this tyrrany be tolerated by us and how dare these governments be so evil as to say, " We will tell you what drugs you will take, when we tell you to drop your pants for a shot or we will punish you as you are acting criminally for refusing to take the drugs we want you to take. We will see to it you do not work." If this is not tyrrany, I do not know what is.

The Australian Government did not force Novak Djokovic to take the vaccine, only that he could not enter the country without a vaccination.
Mr. Djokovic chose not to vaccinated and that was his perfect right not to do so. But the Australian Government also had the right to stop him entering, no one has the automatic right to enter Australia or any other country under all circumstances. The Australian Government, rightly or wrongly, felt that allowing unvaccinated people to enter the country posed a health risk and the duty of a government is to protect the health of its citizens.

Roger is the GOAT of GOATS, an eternal one. Like other tennis players have said, the greatest in an era of greats. And even if someone wins 30 slams, would they have won it in an era similar to that of the Big 3? Serena won 23, but she had no equal competitors, unlike the Big 3. You respond by telling this man no in no uncertain terms. You tell him you are calling the police. He laughs while holding the syringe. You hear sirens and tell him, "They are coming for you," and he continues smiling, syringe in hand. The police arrive and you are arrested. You go to court and the judge finds you guilty of not taking the shot and punishes you for six months and does not allow you to work. The State is essentially saying it OWNS your body. Where the fans rightfully get passionate is when someone tries to portrait Novak as a bad person and glorify the others, which is absurd and completely uncalled for not to mention a symptom of the 21st century delusion that celebrities are someone who they actually know well enough to make these judgement calls that go way past what they can actually see and know about a person who is not a close friend in the least bit. Your comment is the perfect example of the same type of behavior as you have 0 respect for Novak with your snarky comment about his attitude in this situation, if you only knew and had followed his statements that are not butchered out of context over the last 15 years you would have known that it has always been his attitude as well as his fans' attitude, but media would love for you to think otherwise. As far as his fans not having respect for the sport, what does that even mean? Calling someone's fans a "shame for the sport" is a dickhead move. Rise above it. Joker will try to retire with minimum 30 slams, however he won't be able to overhaul nadals 14 rg record. Infact that is one record which might last for 4 to 5 decades.
Nadal might retire after Olympics, considering rg will host tennis event.
Both benefitted from feds tennis exploits and became slam monsters.
Tennis after them will be split style like in 90s with one or 2 players being dominant like sampras and aggasi but there won't be a big 3 in near future..

Djoker retiring with 30 Slams would mean that he needs to win 9 more. Do you even know how difficult it is to win a Slam past age 35.? Winning 2 more at maximum is realistic. Everything above 2 is wishful thinking…
