- Hey guys, today we are going to talk how to restore an old dirt bike frame. There are several important steps you need to do when you are working on dirt bike frame restoration before you do a dirt bike frame powder coating or painting. @@dirtniron Might do it, but I have a lot of other stuff to pay for and it’s not a necessity 😂 got a 06 YZ 125 I’m tearing apart and restoring/styling this winter, sending the engine off to get a full race package, suspension as well. My brother used to be a pro rider for EBR in Houston and they always worked some magic with their engines so checking their options out first, you have any suggestions on other places that make great 2 stroke race engines?

After painted is there Grounds to be made? Such as the coil metal to metal ground, no paint between. Does the engine need to being grounded to the frame? Metal to metal, no paint interference?
Yes absolutely, did you watch entire video cuz i talked exactly about these things. You need to make sure your powder coating shops knows what needs to stay bare metal for the ground, etc
@@dirtniron okay thank you, I gotta costumer who painted his frame am now has kno spark, I’m assuming is cuz no ground. Yeah I just skipped threw multiple videos. Trying to find main grounds. Thanx again. I’ll watch ur video
