I've just took out my catalytic converter wanting to gut it... But turns out, it was already gutted and the 8 wasn't even loud or sounds like yours. Is that normal for it to be gutted and not loud?
WhySoGood ours has no mufflers too
Cars do have a resonator, and muffler that keep them quiet cats are just a filter in your exhaust.

Have you noticed loss of torque? I temporarily removed my mufflers and it was a bit sluggish, needs a bit of back pressure.
