I really wish people would see both heroes as equals. Batman blocking Superman's punch isn't bullshit. He made that suit specifically for his fight with him and if you've seen Dark Knight Returns you'd know he didn't need kryptonite to be a challenge at the start. He came in, went to the roof, and used some tool to perhapes knock some of them out, and then fights the rest of them. If it was a gun, he would have just shot them all, no fighting.

My theory is that Batman's armor to fight Superman is made of Zod's battle armor. Which was made in Crypton. Maybe that's why it has some level of power over Superman and makes Batman someone who can actually fight him.

So how can Superman beat them and yet lose to Batman? The answer is actually very simple....because of a writer who wants Batman to win. That is the ONLY way that Batman can win is through plot induced stupidity, writer favoritism, or asspulls.
Notice how Batman always gets prep-time and Superman doesn't? I wonder what would happen if you gave Superman prep-time to the fight too.

No. Thats clearly just a tool he is using. Not bullets. Thats the same scene from the intro of the trailer. You can clearly see the hole batman came in from with his grapple hook. He came in, went to the roof, and used some tool to perhapes knock some of them out, and then fights the rest of them. If it was a gun, he would have just shot them all, no fighting.

Venom HD Don't assume things. I've read the TDKR. It was a biased story. Frank Miller is notorious for over-glorifying Batman and depicting other heroes poorly in order to make him look better than comparison. So the fact that this movie is, as you said, inspired by that book worries me.
Flame of Udun Batman is going to save what would otherwise be another Man of Steel (I liked man of steel but it was controversial so a lot of people didn't like it).
Venom HD I just wish they would give Superman the same treatment. People just don't seem to know how to write him or his stories lately and it shows. David Goyer certainly isn't helping either, and the fact he's on this movie doesn't put me at ease.

My theory is that Batman's armor to fight Superman is made of Zod's battle armor. Which was made in Crypton. Maybe that's why it has some level of power over Superman and makes Batman someone who can actually fight him.

The beatdown from batman on the thugs at the start reminded me a lot of the sorta fights you got into with the Arkham games, so if that was deliberate nice move for the film

I been watching angry Joe since day 1 and I notice he don't give batman any props when it comes to superman. He calls disrespects the batmobile. He says that batman should've been dead when superman flys him through the building, meanwhile batmans suit can protect him from that. He also says bullshit when batman blocks his punch. We all know superman didn't throw it with all his power but seriously it's possible for batman to block it. That suit gives him super strength so if superman holds back to a specific degree then batman can block it. Yet angry Joe claims he's a huge batman fan. Yeah right .

i think a fight between these two should go how the fight between them did in justice league : war. with batman not being entirely hopeless, and actually being able to hold his own so long as he keeps his distance, but it still being very obvious that if supes wanted to he could end the fight at any moment.

I get what you´re saying bro and this trailer is perhaps the second most awesome thing I´ve seen after hot chicks naked in my bed, but my only problem is the depiction of Batman is perhaps just a little to brutal (I mean branding people is taking it a stage to far and it looks like he literally kills a guy in a fight. Batman may maim but not kill) and superman has a Batman look all the time always scowling. I just want him to be a bit more like the good hearted country boy who genuinely wants to do good but is misunderstood. He needs to have just a touch of that superman boyscout charm like Cap America, so that even those who are on Batman´s side still relate a bit to where he´s coming from. Just a smile when he´s saving someone would be nice. also we´ve hardly heard him speak which was one of the probs of MOS. I love the depiction of ww, she looks like that sweet heart with a cheeky sense of humor she always has been but you know she can turn a 180 and just kick your ass at the same time. altogether awesome trailer though. I wish they would do one more trailer that begins with a superman set piece where he saves a bunch of people in a badass way and leaves just smiling and waving at the people. then the rest of the footage is the same as this trailer, except it ends with Supe´s catching the bullet instead.
