- Hey everybody, in this video, we are going to discuss some important and interesting laws that everyone must know. While most of us are unaware of our basic rights and laws, in this video we have discussed the most common laws every Indian should know. Let's face there realty, usually we buy milk, cold drinks from a shop which is near by and they charge 2-5 Rs over MRP. We cannot go to consumer court for that 😅, when we don't even get the bill. Unlike in the cities, in towns and villages we have interpersonal relationship with shop owners, it's not easy to make a complaint about the shop and spoil that tiny relation. It's really difficult to pass by the shop everyday with that bitter attitude. So paying that extra 2rs is worth it.
Also I've made complaints about extra charge, when I was in city on a Grievance redressal app. Nothing happened. Complete waste of time.

As you spoke about MRP but there are tons of medicines available in market which sold with 5-50% of it's MRP varying with shop to shop(same brand). Same goes with agricultural pesticides and fertilizers. There's no proper system to regulate MRP.
there is no need to regulate mrp.
MRP means maximum retail price... price can be as max as the MRP, it cannot be more than that MRP price. However, it can be sold at lower price than MRP. MRP just mean that price cannot be more than that. So, there is no need to regulate MRP. Its itself a regulator.

sabse jyada in generic medicines their cost of formation is 40 rupees and their MRP is 200 rupees
MRP is MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICE.
There is no minimum limit. You can take or give pills for free too, depends on you. But you can't ever take or give anything above MRP
