This game felt like classic TheViper. Seems so much better than the very-much predictable 3/4TC boom with almost no army + relics + controlled push in the late game…
3:05 T90 said he would love to see a S Tier tournament with standard victory, but he is afraid to do it himself. I'd love to watch and see what pros would come up, would definitely be fun to watch. And other game modes as well, like King of the Hill. We love messy and weird (perhaps bother line insane) games :)
Viper didn't research loom the whole game. But to be fair, Yo researched it for him. Viper gifted his no-loom vils to Yo, and stole Yo's vils in return 11
I actually think it would be a cool addition to allow additional victory conditions in ranked. Especially since they are hard to achieve. Of course, some of them are a bit easier in teamgames but I think having multiple ways of winning is always cool. Especially since conquest will usually always be the best way to win regardless. In addition, I think adding a certain chance to get a regicide game in ranked would be dope as well. Just to add some spice. In my opinion, these changes wouldnt invalidate the integrity of ranked. But rather make them more interesting especially for the new players joining ranked. But we should first discuss how these changes could be implemented. For example, if you veto to never get regicide that should be absolutely okay but leaving it open should also leave the chance to get it in ranked. (besides the fact that new strategies could emerge from having a castle / more people early) I think, everything that changes the meta game for the majority of the playerbase without killing high elo ranked games is a great addition to the field. And there can always be balance patches and feedback which could lead to greater improvements of additional content to ranked which ultimately leads to more people trying it (fear of playing ranked in online games is a real thing xd) What is your opinion on that youtube watchers and maybe viper:) Would love to get some feedback.
Feel like they should just make BF, Michi, Fortress, Hideout and Arena all 9 vill start as a standard setting on ranked ladder, just like how BF is always explored. So I think it would be easy to implement. Wouldn't like it for open maps though.
you get a great price when you sell it at the market. the BOs I've seen have you selling until you get less than 100 gold for 100 stone try it out sometime - it feels pretty efficient and fast
whats the point of playing if you build 3 tcs and the opponent right away start attack your gate with mangonel? i mean seriously, how possibly can you defend against such agressive push if you already commit so much into eco
@@maximilianmusterhans4659 You mean me? No, its not hate, i'm really curious, is it even possible to defend against this. And i'm not blaming Yo for playing "bad" lol
i mean he's missing barracks and has not enough wood since he gotta repair his tc.. even if he saved on that 2nd monastery it sill wouldnt be enough for both buidlings since viper kept out of sight with those forward buildings Yo prob. double dropped tc's instantly upon reaching castle
@@St3v3NWL no? Would a pro player simply not micro their pikes until the light cav picks up the siege? Is cavalry's speed really important in a place where everything is cramped up, and dont even think yo can match up the monks numbers with that food eco, in castle age gold literally easier to collect since it requires no big investment or land like farms. Cavalry couldnt even dare get close to monks especially with lower numbers
I think I've also heard that it refers to a siege monk rush. This was a saracen siege monk rush. It can work with most civs, but saracens are especially good for it because with market abuse, you can focus all of your eco on simple resources and thereby focus more on microing the front and less on building/balancing your home eco. You can also reliably do a really fast castle with saracens. They're also good for it because there are many viable saracen strategies, so the opponent cannot always assume that's the play. Hideout is especially good for this because the pallisades do a good job of holding out any small counter attack, and they also often seduce players into trying to boom (as yo did) which makes them vulnerable to such a push. In addition, often times stone and gold are towards the outside of a hideout base, so it's easier to take the opponent off of those resources with such an aggressive push.
Classic rush build from the earliest versions of AOE2. Saracens can initially sell stone at a profit, and stone miners work slightly faster than gold miners - so you end up with just enough of a gold boost to get an advantage.
