This by far is the best version! Would I be wrong if I said that this touches my heart and makes me damn proud to have been a Sailor in the U.S. Navy?!

I come from a Marine family but my 18 yr old grandson is leaving for Navy boot camp Aug 2020. He's going to b a nuclear engineer so now I'm getting into Navy mode. Thanks to all military for their service
Never heard it with that much brass, about time that section gets recognized as great! It's not easy carrying tubas while you March, breathe and play, !
Having been a Navy Drum and Bugle Corp in early 60's this made me sit up and salute and try to control the standing up hair on my arms and back of my neck.
+Rick Francona Appreciate you doing that. Nothing like a good brass band to play "Anchors Aweigh" Mike Eggleston, Seaman US Navy TF117 Mobile Riverine Force, River Assault Squadron 131, "River Rat" served in Armored Troop Carrier ("Tango") 10 Mekong River Delta, Vietnam 1969-1970
This here just gives me goosebumps and chills up my spine to rise to the position of ATTENTION ON DECK and proudly gleam that I was a sailor in THE UNITED STATES FUCKING NAVY! HOOOOOOOOOORAH! 🫡🇺🇸
Very nice rendition. I served in the USN Medical Corps 40 years ago. However, it was a Marine Corps base and their band never played “Anchors Aweigh” in our Navy Hospital ceremonies...
tyrone if we did not sink 32 japanese shipes and 176 of their planes from the uss bennington during ww2 YOU WOULD NOT BE LIVENING IN THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH
Wow. The navy needs to play it more often like this. More brass makes it even better
If you notice, the trombones have the lead most of the time on "Anchors Aweigh!"

Reason the band is bigger.
It sounds best with more brass. This is a great version
Best with more low brass, especially trombones. :)

Nice job of editing, keeping the music going after the band had passed, adding in some nice images of the musicians.
