It's a great car. I have an old FN2 and I love the analogue feel of it but this one is the best of the modern ones, Just a shame you don't see many around especially after Honda shut. The factories down, Honda dealerships have gone from the south😢

These are just a perfect all rounder, hondas been going from strength to strength recently. Also the first honda car with the type R name was the DC2 integra in 1994, EK9 was 1997. Great video as always 👍
They are, and they have 😀, the First Type R was NSX Type R available with a limited number of 500 from 92 - 95 Happy New Year 🥳

The FL 5 Looks phenomenal and drives so great, great build quality. Simpley great car.

I have owned such cars since I was 20 years old, in addition to the mentioned RS and TYpe R, there were also Focus ST and Fiesta St. So I can make a good judgement based on my experiences over the last 27 years. The FL 5 has become significantly more expensive, that's true, but it's worth every penny. In Germany it costs almost 60,000 But the Audi and VW Golf R fraction has been costing so much money for years and offers in my eyes a completely boring look and very little emotion, plus you can see it on every corner
You have the same view as us😀 worth every penny - we started out in fast car cars and hot hatches too, we still have our 1991 16V Mk2 Golf.

The thing is from our recents comments people will spend that extra 13k on mods, new wheels etc and are happy to pay the price. Thank you James
Love this car but basically got the same car for 15K AUD less called the Elantra N with a track warranty (or i30N sedan ) here in Australia and it does 99% of what this does on track , sounds better and I think as a daily more comfortable. Can't beat Honda's history though I get that but the new N cars based off TCR racer platforms are close If not there.
We do need drive an N again, the i30N I upset an Aston Martin at Milbrook - the handling and power delivery is exemplary, it’s close between the Focus, i30 / 20 N and this, they’re all great hatches - it’s the gearbox that really stands out in the R thank you M, and keep on enjoying Elantra N, they look awesome.
@@PlanetautoUK oh the Elantra N is VERY different to the i30N it's a newer and lighter platform, there's a lot more rotation, it's longer wheelbase so more compliant and based on the TCR car that's won the last 3 years in a row I think. Yes definitely the type r manual gearbox is still better than a Hyundai manual. I have the DCT which shifts bloody quick, honestly I think now more refined and quicker than a dsg and as good as you can get before you look at PDK wet clutches etc.
