I hate how Alma, Ursula, and the Chemist didn’t face ANY consequences for their actions, and how rushed the episode felt
I hope Part 2 resolves this somehow
Alma is missing in action, The Chemist is zooming away with just Eli in tow, I think The Chemist is an alien hybrid given her superior intellect and inhumanity, I its the end of the road for Ursula and Alma in episode 10. Angelica Ross and Leslie Grossman are both listed as cast. We will probably find out what happened to Alma after she killed the other prodigy.
Alma and Ursula disappeared in LA pale overrun. We see only Chemist and baby escaping, could they both be already dead? 🤔

Not to mention the chemist and ursula double cross against belle and austin(i think? Idrc) makes NO SENSE at all, why even tell them to kill Ursula if your really just working with her? I mean what if they did? I mean theyd have to have plot armor piercing bullets but it just makes no sense, why would the chemist want belle and austin dead anyway? i love AHS so i dont wanna hate watch this show but thats really what its turning into last few seasons, i get slot of hate whenevwr i say this and people are like "its ryan murphy, its supposed to be campy" and its like campy doesnt mean bad writing, they are not mutually exclusive.
What people don’t want to accept about AHS is….. the writing is horrible…. They bring amazing concepts to the screen then drop them and ignore them…. That’s how AHS is 🤷♀️

no what people don't get is Ryan is not writing for you he does not need you to like it. plenty will and i am one of them. you guys come up with theories (just like GOT) and get all hurt when your theroies do not pan out. Red Tide was a SIMPLE creature feature where the creature won. IT WAS GREAT 5 episodes and a quick clean up. How much did you think could happen in like 3 1/2 hours of run time.

I like to think that after Alma killed violin guy, she was dragged away and locked up in a mental hospital, writhing and weeping about her violin like Azula at the end of ATLA.
The most shocking part of this season was logging online and finding out this is the finale for the first half.. If the second half can't answer the questions I hope it's good enough to make me forget.
I hated this rushed episode…..felt like they switched writers last minute and forgot to give the new guy all the info needed to wrap up all the plot lines and maintain consistency.

I was correct in my earlier comment about episode 6 feeling like it was written by a different writer. Episode 6 was written by Manny Cotto while the previous 5 were written by Murphy and Fulchuk. That explains a lot of the plot and character inconsistencies. Never bring in a new writer for your finale, directors…it never works out.

I will be ecstatic if I'm wrong, but I personally don't think they're gonna "wrap up" Alma's story. They may explain that the pills have some sort of alien origin, but I feel like death valley is just gonna be its own thing.

The only thing I took from this finale is I'm now shipping Ursula and the Chemist. That's it. I'm not even excited for Death Valley now; but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It’s called cleaning herself up 😂 she’s a smart little villain. If you were in that situation you’d try to be as careful as possible not to have blood on you to get away with murder 😂 also she was wearing a red gown very smart choice
She had a dark dress in with a white collar when she was talking to the guy and after she killed him she had the same dress on no blood on the white collar she had the red gown on when she was audition

I had high hopes for Red Tide. But as usual, Ryan Murphy set us up to be disappointed. Hoping Death Valley redeems it
I thought it was obvious Karen died. She never wanted to become a vampire and she always thought it was immoral. I think they didn't show her painting on purpose. The painting would have indicated whether Karen was talented or not.
That shot of Karen was re-used footage in the episode 6 trailer anyway. There was another re-used shot in the promo as well as a shot we never saw in the finale. Yeah that was Karen’s ending it was bittersweet. And I think the idea of not seeing her “masterpiece” leaves some great mystery to the season 👏🏻
I have loved AHS: Red Tide… but girl this finale was a hot fucking mess.
Okay I watched this video 3x. I really think Ryan made American Horror STORIES and now a Double Feature to test which theme the fans want next. I feel like maybe Part 1 and Part 2 can definitely be a new season for next year. What if they make a Double Feature (Part 2) soon and we get answers for BOTH stories !!!

I give it a 5/10. It just got so silly and campy all of a sudden. It wasn’t good at all and Ironically I feel some lazy writing was the reason 😣😣😣 and all the name dropping.. just Bc you say familiar things like Burger King, Starbucks and Samuel L Jackson doesn’t make it a good script.

Does everyone remember that one random B-story with another evil little girl in Asylum?
This episode for me served as a reminder how we have been let down with season finales of AHS in the past. This season really felt like they were coming back to prime AHS until this episode. So now I am hoping for the best but expecting the worst to not be disappointed. 🤞
Alma committed double patricide without a quam. Why would Ursula trust her at all? They are both sociopaths, but it just seems odd.
Oh my god thank you for posting this because I was SOOOO let down. I think your initial video of theories really set the bar high because this season has been such a let down for me.
I really thought that mermaids were somehow going to be a theme, especially with how Karen went into the ocean. The episode opened with the cop being dead in the ocean but for a second her body looked like it could’ve been some type of mermaid tail…
Good concept but it played out in such a boring and predictable way. It was 6 episodes but it felt like 12. This video is making me excited for the second half, hopefully it won’t be a let down again 😂 You should be a writer on the show at this point.
I really hope that the last episode gets back to them. It feels like their good ending was done on purpose and something is going to happen in Death Valley that directly affects them. It will be disappointing if it doesn't, since the last ep is about first half of the season.

I think the Chemist & Eli are headed to Death Valley and that’s how it’s going to tie into the next season. Maybe they encounter aliens and experiment on them how the black pills work?

Karen’s story did come full circle, in some ways. She never wanted to do evil, until her life depended on it (ie. stealing babies for Belle Noir under threat of death by pale person attack, refusing to take the black pill until she was surrounded by pale people). In all those cases, she picked her life over her morals. But in the end, she chooses to take her own life - she’s not afraid anymore. In the end, she chose her morals over her life.
God, your theory about the black pill affecting morally upright/corrupt individuals differently would've been far more satisfying than the uninspired nonsense we actually got.

I'm also wondering if this was deliberitely bad for a reason (meant to add that to my original post). The writing has been so good this season that this seems to be deliberate so I'm hoping that there's going to be an OMG crossover kind of moment during the second part.
Netflix is removing ahs in October..I rewatched all seasons and finished Thursday night. Heads up...

I figured bringing the pill to Hollywood could only end in disaster. I did not expect that to be the ending. I have enjoyed this season overall so I hope the second half does explain some of these loose threads. I don't care about exactly how the pills work but learning their origin and getting some final character resolution I am hoping for.
Ursula just tossing black pills around made no sense. She want to be rich & powerful & take over Hollywood. If everyone or most people turn into pale ones how is her projects going to get made. Turning Hollywood into an apocalypse makes no sense. And whats with the virtue signalling giving bad cops the pill. Urghh hated this episode.
What happened to us using our own imagination? Deciding on our own what happened? Like at the end of NBK. Karen is dead so he painting don't matter. Doris is chewing on a squirrel in the woods and the bad ppl are winning! We don't always need to be spoon fed every last detail. The show is trying something new. Hit or miss, i applaud taking a chance. It's a show, not that serious.

So if death valley picks up right where red tide ended, why split them up? Death valley has to be a separate story that maybe ties into red tide somehow. If it's just a continuation of red tide that wouldn't be a double feature.
I agree, everyone theories be wrong. Double feature just mean we get two different AHS and that's it. Ppl feed to much in to it for ryan murphy to disappoint...I still like the show but don't get to hype abt it.
Exactly we aren’t going back to Provincetown they only had barely 3 months to film on site there. And part 2 this is set in California. I think there will be a connection between them but not a continuation. The few actors who are coming back for part 2 have confirmed they playing new characters different from part 1. It’s going to be it’s own story but like in AHS fashion will connect to other stories and seasons no doubt 👍🏻
All the unanswered questions/loose ends will tied-up in Episode 10.
I would love to agree with you and continue to hope for closure to these plot holes...but seeing how terrible this episode was regardless of it being a finale or not...to me it looks like we will be left with more questions than answers.

Am gonna agree, it wasn't a great episode but am keeping an open mind. Hopefully these next four episodes will answer the big unanswered questions.

Yeah, there are plot holes but i don't think they are on a mission to end every detail in this season. The Chemist may be an alien or may be in contact with aliens and that is probably the only thing we'll get from part 2. In future seasons, there may be some answers to the current plot holes.

Yeah it wasn't what it was supposed to be or could have been it was like here is an ending to part 1 and the run time was like for real. 34 minutes that's not counting the end credits as an AHS day 1 at least we get a 50+ minutes for a finale

I think you're being small minded. They're obviously going to explain most of these things in the second half. The series didnt end. It's just the 1st part that ended. It's a double feature.

Yes! Episode 6 was a big let down. I wanted Karen to come back and be like I told you you mother fu*kers fu*ks lol Plus I wanted Doris to come back and kill Harry. That would have been better then alma killing him.
Wow! A LOT OF PEOPLE are,disappointed with the ending BUT ITS NOT THE ENDING YET! There are 4 more episodes to go. There have been more than one season of AHS where I didn't care for the beginning (The Murder House was so bad I have yet to finish that season and the Armageddon season was horribly slow at the beginning and I liked that onemamlot by the end). People need to,shut their whiney traps and wait until the season is actually over to complain but I know, it's the internet, where would the internet be without whiney people, right? Lmao
Even if the first half sucked, I want to see the second half. That's what I'm looking forward too more than anything. I just hope the aliens appear and end off Alma, since she abused her power of becoming the "greatest" Alma needs to go. Period.

Well it was disappointing but there are things to take into account. We never read any scripts of Harry, Macauley or Evans.. so why should we see the painting of Sarah? She's an actress not a painter lol she had the dramatic role this season, probably the reason she came back , she was the one that looked like a monster but was the only one that wasn't. Her in the preview was misdirection for the body in the trailer. The other cop was there to put pressure on the town and give a reason why they should kill them now . For the point of Doris and Lars I honestly think it's because of covid .. if they didn't need them they weren't on set and Doris just had a whole episode to herself lol
I really want to say it again we never saw or read anything about there work once they took the pill .. we read some of belle but it was before she took it .. so again no reason to see the painting . Actually the only one we saw do something after the pill is Alma and she didn't CREATE anything she just played a very hard piece of music. Not bashing on anyone but pretty much everything can be explained pretty easily :)

Lily rabe is playing a different character not Doris in Death Valley, she said in an interview both characters are widely different from eachother they aren’t comparable in her words. Plus she said she was so excited bc it was her first time getting to play two characters in a season of AHS. And yes we are only getting 4 episodes for Death Valley as there is a total of 10 episodes this season 😕

Well based on their trailers I was expecting a sexual interaction between an alien and a pale person. It shows like some sort of alien hybrid with the sharp teeth on the beach. So maybe Red Tide & Death Valley will somehow interact? Also they show the aliens cutting a violin made of meat? Maybe the aliens eat Alma? Who knows... But I am hoping for the best! 😉
My gut theory is that symbolic for the aliens maybe the original creators of the black pill formula. Leslie Grossman said both parts are connected in someway but she also said both are complete stories on their own. So I’m guessing a small connection. Also I doubt with Alma as Ryan Keira Armstrong isn’t in part 2 cast unfortunately.
@@seanmorris1985 True. But Alma doesn't necessary need to be in part 2, but they can somehow explain that they got to her. Maybe the pill is a way for the aliens to make humans safe for them to consume? Maybe they experimented on cows first? Then used the pills in order to consume the humans? I am hoping the pale person that gets with the alien is Doris and she finds out that the aliens will be eating Alma. 🙂

That ending was stupid AF. Mackaley Caulkin underwhelmed me so much. Another wacky crying Sarah Paulson character ,OF COURSE. And Finn Wittrock as a father figure? I buy that less than when he fell in love with Liz Taylor on "Hotel". Almost can bet that Death Valley tells the story of the black 💊. She said it was from the government. Its alien blood most likely. This show has gotten Wack AF!
