The arm talent was unbelievable!!!
I didn't start paying attention to this freshmen Vick until later in that season. He was buzzing after a handful of games as Va Tech was climbing the rankings. I knew Vick was really good and exiting, but this game pretty much blew me away. This Florida State squad was one of the most talented and greatest college football teams of all-time, and Vick (other than Peter Warrick, who put on an incredible show too) was CLEARLY the best athlete on the field. One of the most exiting National Championship games I've ever seen to this day.
He will always be in my all time favorite.
Chris Weinke and Brandon Weeden were 27 when they became starters they were in their prime in college that's crazy!
8th year seniors I guess
Lol sad
Like if Mike Vick the 🐐
27 year old college quarterback lol nothing like the old times
Got to give him his props the NFL has all these QBs that are reminiscent of Vicks style its unfortunate that he never had a good offensive coach or head coach but still he was a game changer and represented our state of Va. very well
I loved this game. Back then I was FSU all day but when Vick got settled in he gave that defense hell and even took the lead but that Noles defense wore him down and Peter Warrick showed up and showed out because of his personal situation and the trouble he was in. A star (Vick) was definitely born. If you haven't seen this game you definitely should watch it.
The A.I. of football.💪💪💪
GREAT HIGHLIGHT. The Elusive MICHAEL VICK was a phenom. But, MY SEMINOLES We're THE Team to beat. We had no flaws on either side of the 🏈. SEMINOLENATION !!!
@ 4:55 "And have you ever...seen anything thing like this?"
My response: Yes. Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson, but it doesn't happen often. You're seeing one of the most athletically gifted people in human history
mserth22 and Barry Sanders. But never at QB
Herschel Walker!
VT had a defensive end named Corey Moore who was a STUD!! He was only 5'11" and 225 lbs.
Corey was a absolute beast. FSU had 2 players blocking him in every play. FSU was so good that year they were able to do it.
My favorite athlete of all time! His ppl took
That charge for him he have atleast one ring maybe 3!
Vick is the Barry Sanders of QBs.....
It was something we've never seen before at qb. Dan Marino's arm with Barry Sanders legs.
Damn am I trippin but dude was 27 starting college quarterback against a 19 year old …. Never Stop
I was lucky enough to attend nearly every one of his home games, no one like him! Everyone still goes nuts when he visits tech! GO HOKIES!!!!
Effortless cannon as well
I'm Bama born and bred but I will pull for the underdog. V Tech was Def out of their league but as a fan of college football Vick Def left a mark n put football fans everywhere on notice. My God this dude was exciting to watch.
Vick was cold but this game was the Peter Warrick show tbh
Naw. This game played a part in Vicks #1 overall draft pick. It was a showcase
FACTS !!
True
F.S.U team was the story Lil Pete lasted 1 or 2 years in the league lol overrated
THEBiggest Hater smh whats wrong with yall, Vick was 19 bruh, Peter Warrick was a man smh MV7
If this game made you aware of Mike Vick, you were about 7-8 weeks late. He murdered BC, WVU, Syracuse... I hated him in college but he was the best athlete on any field he stepped at any level.
I’m from ATL and god damn I loved that dude.
GAME Changer!👊🏾💪🏾
Vick should've been the first freshman to win the heisman that yr. 🙄
No stats weren't that good but goddam he won games
Best college player ever period !!!!
Top 5 for sure
OOKIE! 12th St. Newport Bad News, VA! #757
Forgot how well Vick played because bobby Bowdens teams at fsu were dominant 💯
Pretty funny that Vick went to Warrick High School , because he went to the school of Warrick this night too
MICHAEL VICK DIFFERENT TRULY GIFTED FROM ABOVE 🔥🔥🔥
Just electrifying
I was born in 86. So Barry Sanders, Mike Vick, and Reggie Bush are the most elusive stop n start explosive athletes I've ever seen.
I remember crying after they lost this game lol he had no chance against Florida but he gave us a show
Vick loved the big stage!!#FIERCE
