*This unit works like a charm. Keeps my rv 21 x 41 very **Fastly.Cool** . I recommend to anyone that wants to keep a rv cold without having to turn on the main a/c.*
My 13500 penguin 2 stopped cooling, so been using a portable ac and ducted it out a window with a wood insert I cut out. Want to get new roof unit, but I don't trust the penguin 2, mine sucked, froze up and broke after 6 summers, 1 week each summer. Now pops breaker when compressor comes on.
Coleman mach3 is GARBAGE!! Coleman industries is Garbage as well!! I have bought 3 units in 3 years for my ARI bunk semi truck. They last about 9 months and then stop cooling. Coleman does not honor the one year warranty.
@@ln2685 Well, I diagnosed today and found the 1/4 inch compressor line broken in half. The compressor isolaters, hardly giving support, does not do what they are intended for and the brass line was severed. My last unit must have done the same thing. I did not diagnose that one, just replaced it. Im having another unit installed next week and I may try and replace the isolators with a more stuff rubber base. Hopefully that will help. Also I am going to pay the 211.00 for 2 year Camping World warranty. They said if anything happens, take it to any Camping World and they will replace it without any questions asked. Its just ashamed you have to pay for a warranty while the factory warranty is pretty much worthless.
@@Rocksteady176 I'm looking at the idea of going with a split-mini air conditioning system, and maybe just get rid of the roof units. From RUclips videos, looks like people are having success installing them in RVs, and, if anything goes wrong with it, any air conditioning company can fix it not just RV companies.
@@ln2685 Best of luck. Sounds like a good idea. These Colemans are replacements so if its not a bad capacitor or blower motor then the whole unit needs replaced. I think thats BS but I guess you get what you pay for.
