Dylan should fire his agent, absolutely awful decision to leave Edmonton.
There isn't room for him behind hyman, nuge, arvidson, skinner, kane, mcdavid and draisaitle.
He’s a middle 6 forward.
So, correct?
Why is everyone treating the Blues like we are a bottom 5 team in the league? We barely missed the playoffs this last season and have a young core that is improving. Adding two more young guys that can immediately make an impact is only going to improve our chances. Cant wait to see these two guys on the ice.
Great comment. I'm a blues fan as well, I honestly don't know what to expect this season because our biggest problem has been and continues to be the defense. Maybe Broberg will help, maybe not. We will see
Because most hockey fans a emotional homers who barely know what's going on with their own team much less another franchise.
who's treating the blues like a bottom 5 team?? I haven't seen any of that...
It’s honestly shocking how much people shit on STL. I’ll never get it
@@zacharyharms3149 this is pretty par for the course with most teams... I haven't seen anyone talk much else but good things about the blues though.. the only thing i ever hear is how "exciting they are to watch"..
Congrats on the over payment, St. Louis!
Welcome to the Lou Dylan! Can’t wait to watch you all year at enterprise.
If he wanted to stay he wouldnt have signed that offer sheet, he chose money over a chance at winning the cup.
This guy thinking McDavid and Drai need to take less to win a cup but not him. Will enjoy winning it without him.
All the best in St. Louis Dylan, gonna miss you in Edmonton.
He's definitely worth $2.5M+ - no question. Bowman has a big fat ego. Dylan is fast. Plays physical. H'es been hurt last two seasons and is ready to explode. Crazy.
Thank you for a great run Dylan. We are sorry to see you go and are going to miss ya. St. Louis is lucky to have you, and your going to be a star! But once an Oiler always an Oiler!
LOL that's funny
Way to pick the cash Dylan. Hope you enjoy the career 4th line production and retirement by the time you're 28.
After much thought and reading some posts, I’m glad the Oilers didn’t sign either of them. St Louis overpaid because the Oilers were tight with cap space. Holloway is not worth 2.4 million dollars and walked away from playing with the best players in the world. 90 games experience and 1.5 million from the Oilers was not good enough. And forget the Broberg money, out of control.
Right. Can you imagine paying someone who only played like 12 games more than Bouchard who got over 80 points for us.
Oilers players taking less for the team because they want to win and these guys want to not pay their dues and go for the money...god bless....If the Oilers signed Broberg at over 4 mill people would say thats insane....he only played 12 games...
Edmonton win a cup that's funny
@tomjudge7920 you living with your mom and sleeping with your sister is even funnier.
@@tomjudge7920 Oh please just shut up already.
Nurse really took less. McDavid did not take less and Drai won't either. Please be silent and let the adults talk
@@rv2167another keyboard warrior. Atta boy!
He says ‘There’s so much more than taking the money, so you know’ 😂😂😂 typical kid comment
I don't understand why anyone who is serious about winning a Stanley Cup would leave a certified contender to go to a team that didn't make the playoffs.
Is the money that important?
lol! Like you would turn down the additional $$’s. Plus, he knows Edmonton blew their chance and won’t have another one for a very long time. All their $$’s tied up in 3 players.
@@TimothyMcAteer 100% this
Last time I checked a picture of you holding the Stanley cup doesn't pay your bills lol.
I heard Broberg wanted out because he was sent down last here, so he can go. Thought for sure Holloway would want to stay and learn from this forward troop! Oilers would have offered 1.5 for 2. Maybe win a cup, become an amazing player and sign a 5 year 17 million dollar year and come out on top!
They have no choice they are rfas. EDM didn't want em
Vision what? It’s all about money, stop pretending
and opportunity which leads to building a real career
Career mistake, he’s trying to sound optimistic, but you can hear it in his voice he knows he made a mistake already
lol, the cope in Oiler fans is sad and funny
Hahahha this shit is funny u a silly li'l man ain't ya
@@tonyc8752 You're coping hard right now. You over paid for unproven players. While the oilers got Arvidson and Jeff Skinner and now Ty Emberson.
They just upgraded. Cope blue boy
@@randomassname445Jeff Skinner and Emberson both have zero playoff experience lol
@@randomassname445 Man... this is pretty devastating for Edmonton. Pretending Ty Emberson is going to be anything special. You think San Jose (in rebuild mode) was cool with just handing a division rival, a young stud defenseman? Ryan Whitney was pretty shocked. Broberg was the future of their Left side D and they don't just grow on trees
Hollywood, you're a good young stud. I hope you and Broby have a great career in STL.
Every player chases the money...the NHL is a business there is rarely any loyalty
His bank account is happy but you can tell he’s disappointed he’s going to St. Louis
Give it some time. He will be happy to be a Blue…
Especially since he always has a big smile in Oilers interviews. He fucked around and found out, as Kane would say
Nobody would rather live in Alberta than Missouri. This is the best thing to ever happen to him
Yeah that big smiles really shows it hahha dude sad all the way to the bank my God feel bad
@KDotO79 he shouldn't have signed it. It's like me when i signed on the car the bank took, shouldn't have done it but once u sign, u are locked in
Ohh Dylan…I sure hope you are going to learn, just how great a situation of winning your dream cup..with the Oil, and Doh! Money.
He is a good, talented kid..have fun blues-ing!
That's hilarious ... Edmonton cup funny.
. They will miss the playoffs still no goalie or defense
@@tomjudge7920That’s hilarious..and the blues can’t even make the playoffs.
They will miss playoffs..again lol..still no offense or star power..bub
Get the distinct impression Dylan got led into this by his agent to join in on something Broberg wanted to do, and is kinda regretting it already
😂😂😂😂
Holloway's priorities right now don't include a Stanley Cup ring, he won't think about that till he hits thirty and his career expiration light starts to glow. For now, it is all about playing time, money, and all that it implies. If he stayed and grabbed a ring with the oil, who knows what his future worth could have been
If though I get why he did it, this was his choice. Even though he had the chance of going to another championship, in this economy he made the right choice
It's now time that all teams start doing the offer sheets. It's the new way, old ways are no longer honored.
You can tell he's not happy
bad decision my guy. you would have eventually got paid with the oilers too guess you had no patience just wanted to secure that bag but at what cost my guy??? went from playing close to home with the best roster going forward in 29 and 97 only to make a few extra bux. have fun seeing 29 97 win a cup
To leave a team that has a real shot at winning to go to a team that really doesn't... I don't understand the logic. That's a terrible career move and the fact that he thinks it's a good idea just shows where his head is at. All about the money, but really once you get over that $1 million per year mark it no longer matters. I could live one hell of a life on the 1.X that Edmonton offered him.
I’m fine with him leaving, but for that little of a difference of money and knowing you could have rode shotgun with Drai or McD potentially in a couple years once one of Hyman, Nuge, Kane fall off a little.
he knows he will be on the 4th line in edmonton. he may have a better role in st louis. plus he gets more money. it is a choice he has to make。。
acc hes played majority on 3rd line or drats wing
You never know he could have risen easily to the second line, because he has that potential. The sad thing is we will never know. It stings to be honest, but that's because the fans up here appreciated him and his work ethic on the ice.
Yo what. He might have been on a lower line right now, had another chance at championships and then all those vets would have left a big hole for him further up the lines. Or he would have a better chance at a high pay check after more playoff runs. This was short sighted
Best of luck kid, you will be missed,
No, he won't. He's clearly a money chasing loser, not a competitor.
He signed for $400,000 more than the Oilers offered him. From what I understand, he was hoping Edmonton would sign him. I am glad they did not. Let them leave for more money. Chasing financial gain over the championship.
Highly doubt oilers offered him 1.85m for 2 years
He was interviewed by St Louis media an hour ago, and said it wasn't close with Edmonton. I think it was literally double what Edmonton was offering. And not only the money now, but future contract. Edmonton just signed Skinner and Arvidsson, making it clear he probably rarely touch the top 6. And that greatly affects his future contract. In St Louis, he will most certainly have opportunities to break top 6. As an Oiler fan, don't blame him for taking this route.
Broberg on the other hand is a huge pile of sht
I guess McDavid, Leon n Nurse only care about winning too then huh?? 😂 Maybe they should spread the wealth for a legit Defense.. I mean if they care about winning sooo much
Yeah he looks really upset.
Atleast they have Nurse for the next 5 years @ 9.25 Million and Bouch should make 10+ Million
We will definitely welcome you back to Rogers. If you dare to show up
Hawh
If by welcome you mean “boo” then yes. Not that I think he deserves to be boo’d, because I get why he did it. Nonetheless, he’ll be getting jeered.
Love how everyone says stuff like:he chose money over championships😂you guys got the back to the future sport almanac???
Edmonton GM said it best. What they need is loyalty and Edmonton offered both Broberg and Holloway contracts. What these players wanted was to make bank despite having not putting in the minutes to earn it.
Matching these offers would have set a precedent of this being a team to make bank, not to win cups. So enjoy your time in St. louis.
St Louise ain’t going anywhere for awhile. They ain’t building nothing special. They paying u to get u for their rebuilding. Good luck playing another playoffs game.
3 years they are in the finals ... Edmonton is done
@@tomjudge7920 Oilers in an upwards trajectory dumbass hahaha

I dont gonna miss you Hollywood bye bye
Would have been sweet if you stayed, look like a good kid. Now that I said that you’re gonna get boo’s all night at a Rogers
Last invitation you’ll get from McD lol
Good luck kid, we’ll miss rooting for you in Edmonton 🥲
Good riddance.
Alberta boy doesn't want to play with 97 and 29. 😮
What a goof and an absolute terrible interview.
Just another Oilers bust.
If blues don't make the playoffs, and Oilers go deep , (about an 95% chance the Oilers go deep) he might not think that was such a good move.
The blues have won the cup recently, the Oilers haven't.
People act as if the oikers have been in the finals for the last decade
They're also assuming they'll face zero resistance getting back there. It's difficult to keep a championship team together. They didn't even win the Cup and they're already being picked apart.
@@djshaneelliotI’m not sure I’d call it being picked apart. I think they look better than last season.
The blues haven't won shit recently lol. This isn't 2019. Blues have nothing going for them. And won't ever again lol
@@randomassname445 the Blues prospect pool is legit and have young stars in Thomas, Kyrou and Neighbors on the current team. The Blues will be real good in 2 years
